Cytadren

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried Cytradren. I am taking it right now with the 2 on 2 off protocol and man am I having some joint pains. I had a hunch that my cortisol levels were high because I was storing a lot of fat around my mid section, craving sugar a lot, and wasn’t getting a lot of sleep.

I’m not concerned with its antiestrogenic properties, as I am currently taking nolvadex.

I’d love to hear any feedback.

I haven’t used it but I’ve heard similar complaints.
Is it helping with the high cort symptoms like mid section fat?
I don’t know that it would. Be careful with this drug as it can throw off the adrenal system.

Well, I have been taking it for about a week now and I have noticed a big difference in the water retention and overall hardening effect my stomach has undergone. I am not sure if that is to be attributed to the cytadren or simply the lower carbohydrate intake. Like I said, I am currently taking 20mg/d of nolvadex and have been doing so for the past 3 weeks and haven’t noticed any hardening of the mid-section prior to taking cytradren.

I was once a big fat @$$ my freshman year in high school (topped out at 5’9" 307lbs) and I do have some loose skin around my mid-section which tends to swell up when my estrogen and/or cortisol levels get out of hand.

I read all of Bill Roberts’ posts on Cytadren and I completely understand where he is coming from but I decided to give it a try. After a week in I have to say that the negative side effects greatly outweigh the positive ones. (Darn, looks like I’ll just have to add some Deca to lub them joints up.)

I remember reading in Anabolics 2004 that trenbolone blocks cortisol for up to a year. I might go that route to block that villian cortisol.

What also might be giving me joint pains is the stanozolol. I’m injecting 100mg/day and have been doing so for 2 1/2 weeks. I have noticed sore joints from previous stanazolol use, but nothing like this.

I’ll continue the 2on2off protocol for another 2 weeks and I’ll continue to update this thread.

I’ve noticed nolv gives me a hardening affect a few weeks into it so it may be that you are just noticing the effects. Also how much cytadren are you taking. Cy is answering questions so you may want to check with him.
Some say 800mg-1g phosphatidylserine blocks cortisol well. Don’t know for sure.

The joint pain could be winny but the combo is probably not helping
