Picking up the sled at the end of cool runnings. I tend to get that way when i think the actions displayed are something that anyone can do and yet require enormous amounts of strength. What can i say? Getting back up and finishing is often the hardest thing. goes looking for tissues
Forest Gump.
One or two others… but not in the forefront of my brain.
Glory-When they march down the beach before the assault on Ft Sumter
Holy crap! That is the exact scene in the first movie that ever moved me to tears; saw it in the theater when I was 17 with the girlfriend so I was trying to suck it up.
“Give 'em hell 54th!” = waterworks, even today.[/quote]
That is the exact line I’m talking about! I get fucking goose bumps.
Anyone here seen The Killing Fields?
That last scene where they are reunited blows me away every time!
“In America” made me bawl my eyes out. Same as “Life is Beautiful”. I couldn’t watch “The Passion of the Christ”. I love Jesus so much that I can’t bear to think about the crucifixion in detail.
I saw that movie “Eight Below” in the theatre and there was this 10 year old girl sitting behind me who started to sob uncontrollably about halfway through and continued for the rest of the movie. She couldn’t even get up out of her seat at the end; she was just sitting there, emotionally spent. I thought it was kind of sweet that she was so sensitive.
A Walk to Remember last year was the only movie I really cried cause it a bad last year. The part where the guy finds out that she has cancer and when they got married to fulfill her wish.
Not much of a cryer, but I definately start getting a little choked up in parts of Forest Gump. That and Saving Private Ryan whenever they show the flag waving in the wind (beginning and end I think). Big Fish also got me.

When Forrest returns from Vietnam and is giving an inaudible speech to the hippy crowd, and just after he says “And that’s all that I have to say about the war”, Jenny can be seen across the water yelling “Forrest!” and he yells “Jenny!” and they run across the water and the entire crowd shouts out when they reach and hug each other.
I dunno guys, instead of sad things, only really good endings bring a tear to my eye.

Damn, that same scene does it for me, too. My wife looked at me like I was stupid, and she cries at all that Lifetime original movie crap.

The only reason I cried at Passion of the Christ is because my eyes started to water after I realized I just spent 8 bucks to see it.

What exactly did you think it was going to be about that you were so disapointed?

Here are a couple that didn’t really make me get all misty but I was in pretty bad shape at the end:
The Fan with DeNiro. If you haven’t seen this you’re part of a very large group.
American History X. This one will leave you speechless for a while.

The Fan is definitely an awesome movie, although no part made me want to cry.
However, I can’t believe nobody else besides you has mentioned American History X. That ending scene is just vicious on your emotions. For any of you who have a brother that you love, I dare you not to tear up watching that one…
