Cry At a Movie?

Hotel Rwanda, I almost straight bawled.

And… Lord of the Rings, the Return of the King, when EVERYONE bows down to those damn little Hobbits. I’ve watched the movie twice and it gets me teary-eyed every time.

Remember the Titans.

i cried when old yeller got shot.

First off, let me just say this thread is gay.

Having said that; not a movie, but I cried like a baby when they executed Cecil in the HBO series OZ. Also, there was a special on 9/11 where the guy making the documentary can’t find his brother. I guess because I have a brother I found both of those things tough to think about. I am so gay.

Saving Private Ryan
At the end when old Ryan is asking his wife to tell him he’d led a good life and all-- that got me.

Passion of the Christ
Million Dollar Baby

John Kinsella: I’d like that. [/quote]

I’ll second “Field of Dreams.” Great sappy bg music in that last segment.

“Gallipoli” with a not-yet-famous Mel Gibson. War sucks.

I had tears in my eys at the end of Gladiator. And during Hotel Rwanda. Last Samuri. And, erm, Garden State.

What always gets me is a scenes of exceptional strength, courage, sacrifice or perserverance.

Anyway, I don’t know about you pussies, but I don’t cry, I just have to blink a bit.

Well, actually I’ve gotten it a few times.

Let’s see, Armageddon where her pops does’nt come back.

When I was a kid in Ireland I used to watch the land before time and when the mother died I cried, I remember this because it was just me and my mother in the house as I was off school sick. She came in and I hid it, I think I did’nt want to tell her the scene is all because she would’ve cried and it would’ve been worse…

In Braveheart where he’s gettin tortured and he screams freedom I have never been so overcome with emotion in a movie in my life I remembered fuckin shaking and just my eyes swelling. This got me because being Irish and far enough back having a bit of scottish in me I know my ancestry was involved in those types of things. The British have been fuckin with us for so long it’s ridiculous. In fact the Irish were kept as slaves along with blacks by the english. This is like an unspoken known by most irish, thats why blacks in Ireland do get plenty of respect (or as much as the irish can give rather). Living in N.Ireland made this more apparent to me.

Michael Collins got me when he was shot (amazing movie you have to see)

Oh yea, Irish you gotta watch the boxer with daniel day lewis, if you have’nt I don’t know if you’ve ever been but it gives you a good insight into slummy N.Ireland Belfast living even today (In reality it’s worse).

And the passion really hit me hard, especially during the whippings and seeing his mother watch him carry the cross, the soundtrack was unbelieveable also.

I personally have no problems crying, probably because it’s not often but I don’t hide it if I do cry. My dad always told me even the strongest man will weep.

Old Yeller.

Pussies.

That’s just about the only one that even gets my eyes welling up a bit. That’s such a powerful scene.

hero

best…movie…ever

The Matrix - Revolutions (3rd in the trilogy)

Very pshyced after the original.

Disappointed after the second installment.

Cried like a baby thinking I’d wasted two hours of my life that I’d never be able to reclaim after the final installment.

I cried during I Dream of Jenna. I was startled by the phone and bumped my elbow on my nightstand and it hurt and I cried.

That was a powerful movie. Couldn’t talk for a few hours afterwards.

Don’t know why, but this scene always creates a catch in my throat! I’d swear I don’t have any “father issues” like Ray, but this is the only scene in the whole body of Costner’s work that gets a reaction from me.

I cried at the end of Batman Forever. As things finished up and you knew the credits were about to roll, I got something painful in my eye. I tried bilnking and rubbing my eye madly in an attempt to make it stop, but to no avail. When the lights came on, tears were gushing out of my inflamed, red eye.

What can I say, Im a softie.

I think I would cry at a porno flick, because the only time I watch porn is when I hit a bad dry spell, and if I ever left the house to watch porn with a bunch of other guys, my life is definately in the gutter.

Braveheart.

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

Big Fish.

8 Seconds, when Tuff rides the bull for his 8 seconds, and then for an additional 8 seconds as a tribute to Lane. I rarely ever cry, but that always gets me.

In the name of the Father, when the dad dies in prison.
