Country Music Thread

This Gretchen Wilson song reminds me of my first, he used Christmas tree lights as mood lighting.

favorite Shins song…they might not be country but this song qualifies…amazing lyrics, very nice harmony.

one of my favorites just driving down a long road…

a bit of a lollypop but i dig it. i grew up in NY but…Adirondack Mountains, then Vermont…now Georgia, i’ve been a northern country boy for many years.

Cash does always make good music - the sound garden stuff, and all that from the American albums was pretty epic, but some songs just sound better countrified:

For the lulz.

lol Whenever I have to write/type out trouble. That Travis Tritt song pops in my head.

I think both women/girls were around 13 or 14 when these songs were recorded? Yes I like themes.

I had such a crush on this guy as a girl.

Another one I crushed on. His deep voice NOM!

^ I like Alan Jackson. Gary Allan is one of my favorite mainstream guys too. I hate most of the shit out now though, at least from the ā€œNash-angelesā€ pop scene.

(and John Conlee too. My mom loved ā€œRose Colored Glassesā€)

There were some really old country songs that me and a friend of mine went crazy for, I think we were about 13 or 14 at the time.

I still know all the words to these songs lol.

Yeah it’s funny the memories that pop up. I remember the reason I liked this one was because my preferred drink(at the time) if I wanted to get toasted was tequila shots. lol

Not sure how this thread is still alive, but good luck to you.

Big Bad John is a great song!

OMG these ones too!!! lol

Dad was a country fan, what can I say?
