Could It Really Be True?

With Hamlet, Oliver Twist, Nietzsche, The Republic, and 5 new Asterix comics, I think I’m kind of booked at the moment.

Oh, I make me laugh.

Great quote!

Yes science is religion when it tries to “prove” things that are nprovable. Then it is pure ‘religion,’ of course without a god. Darwin is just its “guru.”

You don’t know what you’re talking about.

Oh, the “Great Harris” has spoken and so it must be so…

…what a joke!

Steve, in what ways is science a religion?

Please read the other threads on this subject and my earlier responses.

I am not calling “science” religion – I only call that which calls itself “science” but is dealing with aspects that cannot be proven or disproven and no experimentation can occur, etc.

However, I don’t want to have to repeat myself on this topic – it has been beaten to death.

Thanks.

I don’t know what other threads you’re talking about, so when has science tried to prove the unprovable?

No, the “joke” is someone with such a lack of knowledge about science that he calls it a “faith” continues to post the stupidest things even after he’s been shown the error of his ways

You want to believe in creationism? Fine. It doesn’t make creationism science, nor does it make science faith.

The basics of the scientific method have been explained to you time and time again; you refuse to acknowledge them, content that if you scream, “It’s just a theory,” at the top of your lungs for long enough, it will make you right.

I don’t argue bible passages. Why? I don’t know enough about them.

You shouldn’t open your mouth about science.
