fuck off, the red sox went 80+ years without a championship and the celtics went 22. for the longest time the Patriots were terrible. the Bruins have always been at least decent though.
Boston deserves every ring, trophy, banner, and parade we get. this city has the most loyal die hard fans in the world.[/quote]
Well I’m from Philadelphia, where the one and only world series win came in 1980. I don’t know how much you know about baseball, but the Phillies are one of the oldest teams, older than Boston. The Phillies have been around over 120 years. With only 1 World Series win. Not to mention we have by far the most losses in baseball history, with over 10,000.
The Eagles have never won a Super Bowl.
I don’t know shit about hockey or basketball, but I do know that neither Philadelphia team has won a championship in over 20 years.
How about you fuck off?
how about you move outta philly with your shitty ass teams lmao
you guys also have the Steelers. you also have the Pittsburgh Pirates. im not feeling sorry for a state that has 2 teams for every sport when Boston has 1 team for everything with 6 fucking states on our back.

Haha, nothing quite like people making their case for having the shittiest sports franchises.
“LiveFromThe781”: Aren’t you like 16 years old or something? What the fuck would you know about the suffering Bostonians have endured? Your teams have been winning championships ever since you hit puberty (you have hit puberty, right?). Shut up and enjoy your current reign of dominance, because it’s eventually going to disappear.
“LankyMofo”: I live about 20 minutes outside of Philly, but happen to hate Philly sports teams, and I love the fact that they all constantly either suck, or are just good enough to choke in the playoffs. Sorry. But, to the credit of your argument: Yes, no region, especially no 4-sport city, has had it worse throughout history than Philadelphia.
Well, someone likes you. Nothing’s going to happen with Spygate either. But I was happen to see the Celtics win. The only Boston team I like.

Very true. But our fans almost make up for it. What other city cheers for injuries and boos Santa Claus.

I have noticed that aswell. Back during the 02 playoffs tickets where easy to get. last season i went to 6 celtics games and payed 10 dollars for seats lol. But anyways, we rule sports now. Bandwagon fans or not some of us have been with our teams since birth, And i will enjoy every ring we get now, cause it is just a matter of time before we fall back into the dark ages.

Don’t forget when the guy went into the penalty box after Tie Domi. I was at that game and he was cheered mightily as he was being walked out.

F’Philly, they’ve had their share of champions:
Back to Boston, Celtics won because they didn’t let white people touch the basketball. It’s that simple, in the 2000’s us white people are the lepers of defense.
Offence wins games, Defense wins Championships.
Still don’t believe me? Here’s proof:
BRIAN SCALABRINE KNOWS HE SUCKS

I dont give a damn how many super bowls the patriots have won, I sat there and listened to every Masshole at Clemson (which is, btw, like 40% of the student body) talk about how fucking unbeatable the pats were and how they would suck Tom Brady’s dick for free (no joke). Watching Eli and the Giants pull a big 4th quarter “fuck you” on Brady and company was the most vindicating thing ever. There were a lot of empty seats in my classes the following Monday.
I actually like the Celtics. It probably has something to do with the fact that I dont hear people fellating them on a daily basis…or it could be becasue Larry Bird was my favorite basketball player as a kid.
I dont mind the Red Sox at all. That probably has something to do with the fact that Im not a big baseball fan and Ill only really watch it if I am forced to or if it is Clemson or the Braves playing and beer is involved. Actually, when it comes to baseball, I hate the Yankees in the same way that I hate the pats…simply because they seem like they are unable to win games without their fans declaring them the greatest team/players/franchise in the history of the game/world/universe.

okay dude, that was one of the dumbest fucking posts i have ever read. philly and pittsburgh are two completely different entities, i doubt philly fans said “yay penna just won a championship” when the steelers won in '05. that was awful.
and i just hate the fucking lakers and loved pierce/allen/garnett before they got to boston, so it was enjoyable for me.

That’s for damn sure, on both counts.
What the hell does being in the same state mean? If anything, that makes people root AGAINST the other team.
Last I checked, LA Dodger fans weren’t really pulling for the SF Giants, despite them sharing state borders.

Really? You’re really poorly written for an 11-year-old.
I must have missed where I was bitching about Boston teams winning games. I don’t have a particular problem with Boston teams.
It’s fans of teams I hate, not the teams themselves. You’re a poor representative of Boston teams, based on other Boston fans I’ve met.
