Here is an interesting that raises the very important issue that Hillary Clinton has compromised herself and is open to extortion by Putin if he releases documents regarding the nuclear deal. It puts the home brew email server in perspective too. If Putin’s people were able to hack into her server and get all her emails he can make her his bitch.

Anyhow, just like I felt like a democrat was going to win in 08, I feel a republican is going to win in '16. It’s just a gut feeling at this point, but I think over all people are sick of obama and all the shit in the ME has people scared and the democrats are perceived as weak in that area.
I see the ME becoming an increasingly large issue in the election as the threats from the region grows, as does the denial from the administration of it’s reality.
To me it looks like a very slow escalation in to a global conflict. The problems sure ain’t getting better, they are not staying steady, it’s just getting worse on a daily basis.[/quote]
I don’t think it’s a gut as much as a political reality. American elections go in cycles. We get pissed at a party and let the other run roll shit for a while then get pissed at them and try the other team. It’s a pendulum that doesn’t stay in one spot long.
I don’t think it will be as easy as it was for Democrats in 08. Obama’s approval rating (assuming nothing major happens) should be quite a bit higher than GWB’s was at the time of the election. Hopefully we won’t be in the midst of a major recession that requires massive government intervention (though we could be). You pretty much knew Democrats would win in 08 with how damaged the Republican brand was at the time. I don’t think the Democratic brand will be quite as damaged, but the dynamics should favor Republicans big time.
The American public has short attention spans and can forgive in no time. They can be completely pissed at one party for a couple of years, make them pay, and then be pissed at the other side with as much fervor and welcoming the guys they were originally pissed at back with open arms. I don’t think Clinton is the person to buck the trend of us being sick of a party after two terms that history has shown so often.

I agree.
