Please, read this.
Don’t know who the anonymous poster is and not sure why that last one was addressed to me as I haven’t stated a position on this argument yet.
Now I’ll address the specific URL given. Several problems with it…
1. Beginning it by calling it mutilation. That’s an opinion. Just as you have yours, I have mine. Don’t force yours on me.
2. It was written for shock value. I could write something about suturing a laceration that would make your skin crawl. Introducing graphic medical terms into an argument may work for some but not for me.
3. I’ve seen circs done before with babies not even wincing. This is from PERSONAL experience. I don’t know who the guy is that wrote it, so I have no reason to believe he has any credibility.
In short, I think the article was a bunch of crap. And I still haven’t stated my position on this (nor will I). I’m merely commenting on what’s thrown at me.
It’s kinda strange that people seem to have such strong opinions one way or the other about this topic. I’m uncut, have at times been pretty much a male slut ;), and never had any complaints. In fact, only praise for how it looks, feels, etc by somewhere over 75 women. I’m not trying to impress anyone with that number, I just figured it was enough to offer an educated opinion. My point is that the size and shape, as well as how you use it are just as important as the presence or absence of foreskin.
I think the argument about sensitivity is pointless, unless you were circumcised after having a fair amount of sexual experience and can compare the two states of being. It’s probably bullshit that circumcision results in any long-term trauma. And, I will tell you that it’s tougher growing up uncut, and therefore “different”, at least when I did (I’m 33 now). So this is something to consider if you are having a son. However, that too passed and I don’t feel like I really suffered from it. In fact, it could have done some good in regard to not giving a fuck what other people think.
This whole thing just boils down to…nothing really. It shouldn’t matter much either way. If you’re a T-Man and your confident, fit, funny, and your dick is at least average sized, most women probably will not care too much one way or the other. One other thing; although women don’t fall squarely into one of two categories like men do. I still find lots of variability in the nether regions of the women I’ve been with. All different shapes, sizes, and hairdos, most of which I liked
But just like dicks, it’s all personal preference for the other person.
Post of the year. Outstanding. Concise and to the point, without the histrionics this thread has generated. I agree that input from someone who was circumcised as an adult and was sexually active both before and after the procedure could offer a useful perspective, but if that person ain’t out there; we can officially put this one to bed.
There is someone out there! In fact, a friend of mine was circumcised at 18 (his dad got circumcised and made him do it too!). I’ll ask him about it for his opinion, but I do know three things that he has said since he got circumcised.
1) He much prefers the new look of his penis.
2) He has gotten more pussy since having it done.
3) He has noticed some decrease in sensitivity, but it hasn’t caused any problems.
I’ll be sure to see if he has more to add to this thread, since he’s the only before and after we will have on this topic.
I am glad you are able to use small words. The better for a small mind to communicate.
Your friend does have a unique perspective on this. However, even an 18 year old who is the Fuck King of his high school (or college) is still a novice at sex. I’m not putting down your point at all. But if he’s getting more pussy it’s probably just because he’s getting better with his “rap”. Also, if he thinks his dick looks better, he’s more confident. Which as I said before, may be a good reason to have one as a baby. But having one as an 18 year old, that’s gotta’ be tough. I’m glad he likes the results after going trough that.
I asked my friend about this yesterday. Even though the doctor did a hack job with the surgery, he healed up fine, and he much prefers being circumcised. He has no problems, but he did notice some loss of sensitivity compared to being uncircumcised. But he also stated that it’s not enough to make sex any less enjoyable.
He also stated that he had problems with his foreskin prior to getting circumcised. He also noticed that once his penis was circumcised, the women weren’t as afraid or disgusted by the look of it.
So yes, even though at 18, he may not have had all the experience necessary, he is much happier now that he is circumcised and is glad he got it done. So in his case, circumcision was the better option.
He also stated that his father had problems as he got older, and that was the reason he decided to get circumcised and make his son do the same.
Sounds like he…I mean his father made a good decision. It’s funny how you said that women aren’t “as” afraid or disgusted by it. Makes it sound like he’s chasing people down the street with it. But hey! It’s Friday night! So I’m going to stop talking about other peoples dicks and go chase some women around with mine. Have a great weekend everybody.
Circumcision is all about money, people pay out about 1 billion dollars a year in this country to have there babies snipped, for HMO’s circumcision is a big money maker.
