Chris Hemsworth has done a fairly good job considering he’s a professional who has to be flexible enough to go and do other roles too. He probably looks better than the majority of the people on this board. The fact of the matter is that no business-minded studio nowadays will invest millions of dollars into a movie whose star isn’t an actor with at least a few quality credits to his name, and is, first and foremost, an actor. Not a bodybuilder. Arnold was an anomaly.
Yes, I would prefer it if Thor had a more intimidating screen presence. But it’s more important to me as a viewer is to watch a leading man who actually has some acting chops.
No one seems to be complaining that Anthony Hopkins isn’t a big enough Odin.

At the end of these Marvel movies, after the credits, they always have some cool cameo thing that is usually a hint at what’s coming next in the franchise. What do you think they could do at the end of this?
I think Thor could be at home (if he has one) and there’s a knock at the door. He opens it to see Tony Stark either in his Iron Man suit or not and a huge pair of green legs in ripped purple pants (you can’t even see all of The Hulk in the doorway) asking him if he’s busy.

I think you’ll get a hint as to what the threat is going to be in the Avengers movie - then at the end of Captain America they could have the full reveal. That way the Avengers movie can start in medias res and they don’t have to mess about establishing who the villain is etc.
Yours is way cooler though. It could be better - Tony Stark could walk in without knocking and catch Thor furiously masturbating.

So I’m thinking at the end of Thor Samuel L. Jackson will make a cameo telling him “we need your help” and then when Thor asks “We?” Jackson will hand him a folder titled Avenger Initiative.
