Just a correction - Operation Paperclip was an organized effort to bring Nazi scientists after WW2 to Texas of all places, including the only SS-Sturmbahnfuehrer to work for Walt Disney. (Bonus trivia: there’s a Waffen SS captain/Bronze star recipient buried in Arlington National Cemetery).

If you think this is an issue about religious freedom, even Muslims have their own schools there. But, like almost every single Asian country, the heads of religious institutions have to abide by certain sets of rules or be in violation of relevant national security laws.
