The new DragonBall movie.
I just watched “No Retreat. No Surrender” a few days ago (I can’t believe it was released on dvd). It’s f-in’ terrible. I’ve probably watched it 20-30 times since I was a kid and it still makes me laugh at how bad it is.
The Last Dragon was great. I saw it in the theatre when it came out and got it on dvd a few years ago.
best of the best

It’s the first thing that came to mind.

haha remember the fat dude chasing the black guy down the street and he jumps over the road block and the black fella kicks the skate board under his landing. Classic

I was gonna say Sidekicks–that one with Chuck Norris and that one kid from the Neverending Story Part II who killed himself a few years back. Jonathan Brandis maybe?

Thats the first thing that I thought of too but I didnt know he killed him self…wtf?! Had to wiki that, tried to hang himself no less.
I haven’t seen The Last Dragon, but watching that ending made me want to rip my eyes out. How somebody could watch an entire movie worse then that(since the ending is apparently the best) is beyond me.
But then again, I probably would have liked it if I was 10.

Are you serious? That movie was made in 1985 (about when Back to The Future first came out). For one, it was pretty big hit when it came out for several reasons. There weren’t exactly that many black action stars back then so any one of them who shined through filled a theater…like Action Jackson for instance.
You also have to take into account the time it was made. That was when movies like Colors were being made and Breakin’ so breakdancing was pretty big also.
I was one of those kids wishing I could make my hands glow and move in slow motion after seeing that.
Also, whoever said Karate Kid is “cheesy” is retarded. Again, this was the 80’s. That movie was a blockbuster hit at the movies and spawned at least 3 or 4 sequels.
That doesn’t equal “cheese”.
There are so many, but I’m sure there is a Japanese films that is beyond cheese.
