The whole ecosystem that MS is building is great - one account for your 360, PC and phone which works across all the platforms in terms of music (Zune on your phone, PC and 360 and it’s a good media player) and functionality.

My question then if I am pulling my music from the cloud then my usage would go way up, at least much higher than if the music was physically on my phone, right?
Yes, but I tend to copy music over from my PC (you get wireless sync too).
If you were to get a Zune Pass ($10 a month, unlimited music), you can use your PC or Phone to download the music, but just make sure you phone is on wifi is you choose too.
I use my phone for browsing and email and I use about 250mb a month (I have a 500mb plan) - but that is frequent use for about 6 different email accounts too.

Are there not many all-you-can-use plans in the UK/US/CA? I always sort of marvel at people complaining about SMS or data usage, when all of the providers here have caps on their usage that you will not get charged beyond. I always always max mine out, but it only costs me around 40 bucks a month, so no big deal, as I use my phone CONSTANTLY.

In the US if your carrier does not have an unlimited plan, you buy a amount of usage and if you go over they pay you by whatever metric they use. My guess is they probably do not tell you because then you might stay within your limit and not spend an inordinate amount of money on overage fees. I think this year the feds finally forced banks to notify customers at the ATM if their withdrawal would tap out their bank accounts. Its all about “individual accountability/how came we milk the customer” over here.
Verizon has an unlimited plan here for $30 a line but when you have two phones on the bill and it doubles what you are already paying, it hurts.
Sprint also has an unlimited plan but according to their coverage map I would have to use my phone outside for it to work. The funny thing, that is actually what the light green color symbolizes. Dark green=works everywhere, medium green=most cars and some buildings, light green=works outside but not in cars or most buildings.

So wifi use does not count towards usage? Is that what you are saying? Cause if so I am glad my gym has free wifi.
Yeah, it absolutely does not.
That’s why anytime I’m away from one I only use email and browsing. I can’t even imagine trying to download music here over 3G, it would take ages.
4G LTE here (as in, my area) rivals cable modems. I’m serious.

This might be a stupid question but is a wireless router the same as WiFi?
Yup, a wireless router IS WiFi.
So basically I could turn on my wireless router (currently it is hardwired to my desktop and the wireless feature disabled) and I could use my phone ad nauseum at home without accruing usage?
Edit: Ok, I should really top with the stupid questions.

Their camera is traditionally very good but working with S60, S80 etc (sound like Volvos haha) has been a pain. I know there’s 3rd Gen version of it - but I don’t know how good it was. I was just so frustrated with the N series phone I was ready to change for anything - thought about BB, HTC and Apple. Settled on Apple in the end.
You can’t really compare a 3 year old phone to an iphone 4. It’s extremely unfair. Symbian 3 combines pretty intuitive icon usage with a powerful options menu and a multitasking button. Very smart email software, just write in adress and password even for obscure emails. And I get all five email adresses I have on one home screen. Still can’t get the ones that aren’t gmail/hotmail to work in iOS. even s60 beat it, lol.
get a good home launcher app… it allows you greater flexibility with ure home screens (in my case giving you more home screens to scroll through ala iphone)… i have the launcher pro (free edition)… also sign up for amazon app store… they offer 1 free app (that usually costs money) so you can browse through their selection…
i have launcher pro (home launcher), timeriffic (sets your phones ring settings so when im at work i don’t have to constantly put the phone on silent etc…), weather channel app, battery left (lets you know how much % u have left), Advanced task killer (kills apps that u don’t use or lets u know whats open at the time), bubble (leveling device), catch (create notes on your phone), mototorch (turn ure phone into a flash light when needed), and sports tap (for sports scores)…
