I’m tired of reading about Israel and Palestine. Let them just blow themselves up already. All the peace talks are pointless, they need to shoot until one side is left standing because they obviously cannot negotiate any type of lasting peace because they are a bunch of radical whackos over there.
I wish someone could hack CNN.com and put up something worth reading besides “another day, another war between Israel and Palestine”
Yes, world issues should be decided by whether or not people are still interested in reading about them.
When the answer is “no”, whatever that topic relates to should just be bombed out of existence.

I am as well. I could care less about Israel or Palestine. I really could care less about that whole area of the world. The Israeli - Palestinian conflict is none of our business.

Duhh…it’s totally our business. It changes the region, economics, politics etc.
This is like saying I won’t vote because I don’t care about the issues.

It is easy to feel this way.
I also think it is a mistake. Islamic extremists should not be ignored whether they are in Chechnya, Gaza, Kashmir, Indonesia or flight school in Florida.
They have declared war against the rest of the world.

There is a very simple remedy to that. Either wave your magic wand and fix everything. Or alternately stop reading the stories.
Wherever there is an internet connection there is always a pair of breasts to look at.
We should care, but it is easy to get exhausted of it.
We’ll always have to care, because of either our energy dependence on ME oil (if only that could change) and/or humanitarian crises.
Were we to completely become energy-independent, we’d still, to some degree, get sucked back in for humanitarian reasons, I believe.
If somebody chooses to not care about the ME, that’s completely fine. Nobody is making you watch CNN. Finding boobs to look at is a fine idea – this way you aren’t wasting bandwidth and you can leave the political mumbo-jumbo to the rest of us.
PS We’ll still be here when you get tired of the chafing and forearm soreness.

It amazes me that people could think like this and be ignorant to the cultural war that is taking place here.
You’ll care when Israel starts World War III because of their little pain in the ass state, and when you get drafted to fight in it. You’ll care when the price of oil jumps a dollar again, and you’ve got to get used to four dollar gallons, and everything gets more expensive as a consequence. Oil is important- until there is no more, we will be in the middle east.
Not too mention, of course, that it’s a good thing to try and stop wars from going on (although W. doesn’t seem to intent).
Really, go back to looking at porn.
