Have you guys played other FPS online? What keeps you coming back to COD? I gave up on it on 2nd Modern Warfare. It just got plain and playing Black Ops on my brothers Xbox it still feels like the same game as the first.

I have Bad Company 2 and have played it some (and like it), but there are a couple of reasons I keep playing Black Ops over it:
- I have more friends who have/play Black Ops
- Black Ops matches are much faster paced and overall faster, I need 30-40 minutes just to play one match on Bad Company 2
However I’m starting to get bored with Black Ops (probably just more annoyed with online play issues still) though so I’ll probably go back to Bad Company 2 soon. I think I will be getting Battlefield 3 this fall after seeing the new videos for it (if a new CoD is released I’m sure I’ll get that too).
Im with strungoutboy on this, its not fun to play some dude with a 30kills - 5death line every fuckin time.
My k.d is usually around 1.0 to 2.0 and occasional 3s depending on what map I play in.
I played a game of TDM yesterday on firing range and went 20-0. It was fucking awesome!!! Best game I’ve ever done.
Also, Pootie… My mic was/is busted so I couldn’t get that chat to work yesterday… I still don’t really know how to use the xbox… I can just Play the game better now

I see how it is. lol.
I got a ps3 and this game a few days ago and I’m hooked! Zombies is brilliant and I love the team work aspect of it, especially when everyone’s on headsets. Got upto level 23 last night (no thanks to me, kept dying lol).
Multiplayer I am shit at. Been practising, but its nothing like the real thing. I usually get kd ratio of 10-20 on practice but 0.20-0.30 on the real thing. What sensitivity do you guys use? Need all the help I can get!

I play on sensitivity 6 or 7, but that’s higher than most people. IMO, you should play on the highest sensitivity you can handle. I can’t tell you how many times someone’s started to shoot me from behind and I’ve still killed them because I can turn around faster. That being said, if you go from 3 sensitivity to 6, you’re going to accidently spin in circles and get destroyed.
I recommend all beginners play free for all for a while before progressing to the team games. You have a lot more one on one gunfights, less major killstreaks messing you up, and can learn the basics.

I’ve adapted to playing on 8 or 9 if I remember correctly, going back feels wrong.
Mines currently on two. I think it was the default setting. Il practice playing on a higher setting. You’ve described me to a tee about shooting at someone from behind for about 2 seconds and still dying lol. Great advice about free for all as well, I’m going to do that thanks.

I was up to 10 on MW2 lol. I tend to increase it the more frequently I play, but I haven’t had time to play much recently so i haven’t been bothering to raise it.
I just got 10/15 on free for all on sensitivity 5. My aiming is still shit and I’m using an m16 so the burst doesn’t help. But improving i suppose

I was going to recommend an m16. Wait until you’re accurate with the m16 before going to a fully auto gun. You’ll get killed more often in close range, but you need to practice hitting targets at medium-long range more.
10/15 is a lot better than a .1 or .2. lol.
My sensitivity is like 3 or something. I can’t handle it too high or I will get motion sickness.
I was playing demolition earlier this week because I was trying to get flax jacket pro. I needed some plants and disarms. I realized I hate demolition. There are so many people that play just to camp by the targets or spawn trap you. They only go for kills and that is it. There was even a guy on my team who wanted the other team to destroy the target so we would have to play the third round. Fuck people like that, go play team deathmatch.

To be honest, I never played anything else besides TDM. I like it straight forward just shooting people, getting shot, re-spawning, repeat.

I agree it sucks, i wouldn’t say boring. I haven’t gotten Flax Jacket Pro yet and i wanted to see what it was like. It’s actually pretty cool. I find myself going back and forth between hardline, ghost, and flax in perk 1 depending on the type of game and who i am playing.
I’m a big fan of domination, I like sabotage too.

My best tip is instead of always doing the same thing with every gun, play the class. Design and play a class for a specific purpose and do thid. It made my ratio so much better.
I just started playing on XBox and the move from my PC is killing me. I was getting PWNED all night but still having fun. My aim is real shit but I can spray and pray with the best of them, lol. I suck a the game but if you need someone to run with you hit me up. (Phatman1179)
I will bump the sensitivity and see if that helps…
