Bump for Nuketown 24/7 Gamemode - I never noticed this before so I assume it’s new and it says it’s only for a limited time. Too bad the damn PSN servers are slow/full as shit right now.

what is this you speak of?>?

For you xbox livers a question:

I was playing nba 2k and this guy knew how to lag his connection right at moment I was in the motion of shooting a free throw. He would just intentionally foul me then as I shot would start the lag.

How the fuck was he able to do this?

and yes

Nuketown is lame.

Cool, yeah i bet it would be lame if you didnt like fast paced action and the opp to rack up some kills.
you like to snipe prob?
it would get pretty old fast i bet. to waldo or whoever knows - what game modes do they have with it? is it like a mosh pit with the different game modes just on nuketown?

i cant play this anymore, i was playing like three times a week and the 12 year olds own me soo bad its not even fun anymore

Maybe you just suck?

On an almost related note, I’ve been trying to get all the perks pro’ed out, so I’ve been streaky as all hell lately depending on which class I’m playing with. Today, among others, I had a 20-0 game, a 2-17 game, and a 29-0 game haha.

I got so fed up last night. I was having the best game of domination in my life with over 10 captures and a lot of kills and defends and then I got kicked from the server when the score was around 180 to 170. I’m sick of these stupid PS3 servers.

On another note, some other things that really annoy me about the game. I hate how when you try and find a match and it sticks you in a game where the team is getting their asses handed to them. You get stuck in the match for maybe a minute and get stuck with a loss. That plus sometimes the R3 button is too sensitive and i accidently hit knife when i’m trying to move or aim to shoot.

I have had that happen to me too. Sucks ass that you don’t get the credit for your play up to the point when the server closes.

Other than the servers, I hate playing people with laggy connections - it’s impossible to hit them when the bounce from point to point on the screen (it seems this problem happens most often when playing against people outside of the U.S.).

Switch your controller set-up to tactical!

usually they stick u on the losing team since the losing team is the team that all the players are leaving… lol…

whenever i play alone i tend to just make sure that i get on the team that has the same clan tags… usually the people that play together means ure team is gonna win… its not fun when u start a round and realize that the other team has flanked u and 5 people are firing into ure ass, meanwhile ure team is camping in random spots around the map…

I think someone was telling me about it before. Is it you switch the O button with R3?

Yes.

I highly recommend it.

I got stuck in a match once, on the losing team, as the game was ending. I didn’t even get to the “Choose Class” screen before the game was over. That’s one of my few (but major) beefs with this game.

I tried it out today. It’s going to take some getting use to. I kept forgetting that i switched and would try to knife someone and hit the wrong button.

It took me some time to get used to, but it really makes you a much more agile player once you get used to it. Plus the knife is so nerfed compared to MW2 (probably a good thing) I hardly ever use it unless I’ve snuck up behind someone.

Took me a few games to get used to it as well, but I love it now because like Spartiates said, it helps you be more agile when you are moving around. It becomes second nature to easily duck and pop up again around cover all while not taking your thumbs off the R3 button.
