I just ordered the 650SVF today, it should arrive after I take my road safety class/exam.
I just want my fella’s here to know that getting a Kawi Ninja or any 250 is a damn hard thing to do… I went to 6 dealerships looking for them and they all said the same thing…
“Yea, um…There is a waiting list as long as this bike for the Ninjas as they are the most popular model right now and they aren’t making enough to answer the demand…”
I can’t even get on the damn list to order one.
I check my local newspaper in the classified ads and all I read was ‘HD, HD, HD, HD, Harley, HD, HD, HD, HD, Suzuki, HD, HD, HD…’
I had no idea those Ninjas were so in demand.
Also, I rode my friends GF’s 92’ Honda 250 and that thing was screaming under my ass. I’m not as big as most of you yet but I know it was hurting trying to accel and stop. Not that I’m against it (as all guys get these models for their GF’s) but I feared it was a little underpowered for my size and riding potential.
I’ll be sure to have pics up when i get it soon.
I forgot to mention that alot of motorcycle companies aren’t even making 250cc engines anymore, it seems 500+ are the standard.
I checked all the websites of the companies and it seems to corroborate this…

I tried that and Craigslist. Ebay was strange with its taxing and shit, not sure how to use it honestly…
Craigslist was fuckin shady as hell. People aren’t even honest with their shit. I saw a 07’ Yamaha 550 with Yoshi pipes and the caption said 2000 ORIGINAL MINT CONDITION! for $2k.
It’s not that I’m against ebay, I just want to be schooled in how to use it before I buy outright something.

I’m with you. There is no way I would make a purchase like that from Ebay. Ebay is for speakers, headphones and random gadgets…not several thousand dollar machines that you will be putting your life in the hands of.
