Yup. It was a selection program, like what they do for Spec Ops guys. They were able to find the dudes that had the gifts to be Olympians and then train them, whereas the Soviets tried to actually grow an athlete. Interesting to see the two different approaches.

Always fond it amusing when naturals with non godlike recovery ability who work full time jobs trying to emulate the shit.

Bench: Rhodes 5x5/3/1 no plus set today.
Technically im running it in a 3/5/1 fashion. It maxes my ability to recover on my main lifts due to going over the hill.

Incline Db presses: 3 working sets
Db rows: 4 working sets
Rolling db extensions: 3 sets
Axel curls: 3 sets.

Got a new pair of toys..

Defently better than what i had previously for pressing. They are rated up to 150lbs each.

Only draw back is that the handles are thicker so its makes db row interesting.

Between the funeral dinner and a local mexican restaurant yesterday. I pretty much fucked things up for my app since i have no clue on my actual intake yesterday. Oh well guess it will not be adjusting anything this weekend.

Ordered a new toy from Titian Fitness.

Says it has a 400lbs capacity … obviously thats more than enough..
