Yeah, that’s what I meant. Unless you WERE upping your intake to match reduced food intake, salt was gonna drop. Food is a primary source of salt and electrolytes for most folks, and for athletes especially we have to be conscious of it when we reduce

Well, how much and meal frequency.

Im eating at the moment 4 times.
The app got me slightly under 2500 with a maintenance level of about 3200.

Dumping allot of water weight so far. When i enter my bodyweight Sunday morning the app will be like , WTF!? Curious to see the caloric adjustment it will do.

App gave me a early weigh in option yesterday.

As i knew going in i would probably loose more than the parameters i had preset. Ended up down by 5 lbs in 6 days. ( of course mostly in water weight)

In response the app upped my cals several hundred a day to keep me in the pre set limits.

From experience i do expect next weekend the app will drop the cals back down.

My numbers are currently shit. Been off serious lifting for 3 years.

Bench 365x8

Squat 405 x 15 several years ago… 315 x 30( in my youth)

Seated BTNP: 315 x 1

Deadlift… we dont talk about that its always been shit. 600 thats it.
( i hate to add… those are without " supplements ")
Nothing elite… but above average in some cases.:person_shrugging:t3: Anymore between internet lifting and all the gear who can really say.
Plus im getting old @ 53..been doing this shit on and off since i was a teen. With battle damage . Getting older is a bitch.

Yep. Stay with what works for you.

Wouldn’t hurt, especially at your age, to find an endocrinologist and get your hormones checked. Might make weight loss infinitely easier.

That’s solid dude, I’m surprised your pull was at 600 usually with that type of leg strength most guys are around mid 600s

your bench ratio is pretty crazy though, I’m guessing you got more of a bench/squat build? Or was the deadlift one of those lifts you didn’t train particularly often ?

Oh i use to train conventional deads .Just not built for it.

Dont have the proper hip mobility for sumo: check

My oldest son is the complete opposite. His bench sucks but he loves to pull.
