I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, but—oh, man!—I miss the university cafeteria.

Keep the gains coming, my dude.

So many people complain about the dining hall food, and I just don’t get it lol. I’m eating easily three or four times what my meal plan costs and the food isn’t horrible by any means

That seems to be the main difference between what you have and what I had.

Parents weekend? Great food. Any other time? Not so much.

It helps that I have the palate of a starving stray animal lol

TPWiaB W25D2: Front Squat

Front Squat: 3x3@260, 225x9
Leg Curls: 175x8/8/8/7/5

Have already come down with some sort of back-in-the-dorms illness that made this pretty miserable. Got the 3x3 but had to dump the last rep of the backoff set.

Air Bike: 10.00 Miles in 31:49

After a whole summer of not seeing a single person touch a weight within ~50 pounds of my working sets on a squat, I watched someone squat 455x6 today in wraps lol.

TPWiaB W25D4: Press

Seated Press (see notes): 3x3@150, 135x8/5/4 RP
Decline Bench: 185x5/5/5/5/11
Pushdowns: 92.5x8/5/4 RP

Seated press is now being done with the pins set lower (the bar is ~1/2” off my clavicles at the start of each rep) and sitting on a plyo box, so no back support to speak of. They actually felt pretty good, and decline bench should be fun to play around with for a while. Nice day all-in-all

Chin: 62.5x4/4/3, 35x7/5-3 RP
Plate-Loaded Low Row: +160x12/12/12
Plate-Loded Preacher Curl: +45x8/5/4 RP
Incline Curl: 35x9/5/3 RP

Technically a PR on the first two sets of chins, but I wanted five. I think I’m gonna change my approach to these and just accumulate a tonne of volume at ~45 rather than grind away at 2.5 pound PRs.

Always good when you have a plan to dominate a lift.

High-Bar Heels-Elevated Squats: 4x8@245

Squats felt heavier than they probably should have, but I got them done.

CG Pause Bench: 175x5/5/5/5
NG Chins: 10/9/8/7/6

Got rained in last night, so I got up at like 5:00 to bench and make up the cardio before classes today. Bench moved pretty well.

Front Squat: 265x3/3/3, 225x10 (PR’s)
Leg Curls: 175x8/8/8/5/4

Solid work. As promised, grabbed the set of ten on front squats. QSA tabling & D&D (god that’s not a flattering combo lol) tomorrow evening, so I’ll be lifting in the morning again. Which is honestly kinda nice.

My back is totally fried from this lol. Could barely row.

Doing this today since the gym will be closed Saturday for football. Will do cardio alongside either tomorrow or Sunday’s lift.

TPWiaB W26D3 & 5: Press & Cardio

Seated Press: 155x3/3/3, 185x1, 135x9/5/4 RP (All PR’s)
Decline Bench: 195x5/5/5/5/5
Pushdowns: 92.5x9/5/4 RP

Seated, without back support, off clavicle-height pins is probably one of the harder ways of pressing a given weight, so I’m very happy to have grinded out 185 like that. Especially before 6:00 AM.

No training today, watched the football team blow out Middle Tennessee 56-7. The two other games I have tickets to are Vs Tennessee and some community college from Louisiana (sorta surprised they even have a team tbh,) so that should be a good time.

What team?

It’s called “LSU,” if you’ve heard of it
