Did you like the ending of the series? Some didn’t but I really did.
I bought The Wind Through the Keyhole but haven’t read it yet.

That sounds like the chorus to a Shakira song.
I’m currently reading Starting Strength and The Alchemist.
American Psycho. Almost finished with it. A lot more detail than the movie…
Is that Jay Leno holding a tiny Edgar Winter in RETURN OF THE WHORL?
I’ve never been a fan of reading, but my gf introduced me to Angels and Demons and I loved it. Ive read the first couple pages of both angels and demons and the da vinci code.
right now I plan on reading all the books in the series, but when im done do you guys have any books you recommend similar to that.

Yeah… i’ve read the first 30 pages of both. Little premature to say i love them?
Books have been pretty obsolete to me the past few years. I might get back into the habit though.

No, they’re both good enthralling books, it was just that you said you loved it but read a few pages…just a little funny.
Rereading the Drizzt Do’ Urden series for the 3rd time. EPIC! Considering buying the Walking Dead comic books. I read some pages at Target while my wife shopped. Very interesting with really cool artwork. ( I know not really a book but awesome regardless )
How have I never noticed this thread? I became a compulsive reader about 3 years ago.
In Miami for a quick business trip right now, brought A Clockwork Orange with me, it has been pretty horrorshow from what I can viddy so far…
Wow, I read so much at work I like to read trash books.
Right now, some trade paperback about a detective who is also a zombie. Solves crimes related to the monster underground.
Fricken hillarious.

Talking about trash novels…any guys here ever read Mack Bolan books?
I read about a dozen in high school. I picked one up for shits and giggles last time I was home and it was fun.
They come out every month and are made by the same publisher that makes Harrlequin Romance books.
The above pic is what the covers generally look like now.
Also, in my life I’ve read about 180 Star Trek novels. I need to count again, but I know it’s pretty close to 180.
‘Germs, Guns and Steel’ by Jared Diamond is my current read.
But probably the best fun I’ve had this year was with ‘Ilium: Totally Space Opera’ by Dan Simmons. Essentially 3 stories in one, all three strands are brought togethor brilliantly at the end. One of the strands is a retelling of Homers Iliad …but with the addition of Shakespeare quoting robots. The final statement of Achilles to Zeus is a killer line!
