Bone's MT I Log

Summary of my melanotan experience.

First two weeks I used Melanotan 1. It was at 1mg a day after several days of just .5mg/day. The tan started slowly, and by the end of using 25mg, I was happy and impressed with the color. I wanted more though.

Second round was with Melanotan 2. I started about 10 days after the last shot of Melanotan 1. I used 1mg/day from the onset, and after about 5 days I had a darker tan. It seemed to be faster, but then I also had a good color of base tan from the previous M1 round. It is supposed to be stronger, and a quicker hitting peptide. And it also has the added effects of increased libido, and decrease of appetite.

The libido I felt. It wasn’t so much a complete libido increase to me, but at times just felt like if you hit the little guy or bumped him, he’d pop up rather annoyingly at times and just “hang around” lol…

The appetite suppression I barely felt if at all.

In hindsight now, I have come to the following conclusion.
I like Melanotan 1 better than Melanotan 2.

The tan from M1 was a little bit slower, but it was very nice, and I didn’t get any extra moles. I have a liberal amount already and wasn’t that worried about it.

The tan from M2 was a bit faster, and had the aforementioned extra effects, but increased moles by a substantial amount. So much in fact, that I got turned off by it. Mainly because they arrived on my face.

Now don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that drastic, and they look fine, eyelid, around face in various places etc. But when I think that this many happened in only about 5 full days of injections, well that’s too much for my taste.

Prisoner and others have said that they go away as the peptide clears from your system, so I’ll be watching to report back if that’s the case with me.

So one needs more of the Melanotan 1, and slightly more time “on”, with it vs. the Melanotan 2. For my money, I’ll go with the original in the future though, for what appears to me to be less occurence of moles popping up, and also for not crossing the blood brain barrier like the M2 does.

Thanks for checking out my log guys.

Good summary, Tone. Reading it, I began to wonder how cycling the two different peptides at the same time would change the effect or minimize the sides.

By this I mean injecting M1/MII on alternating days. Not sure if I was being clear in the first paragraph.

Interesting thought ZZ.

I suppose it might help a little bit with regards to the sides. That’s something that one of us ought to try maybe in the future. Thanks, another good idea from you buddy.

For myself I’d just rather forgoe all M2 sides, and stay with the more studied and debateably safer M1.

Not only did I have zero moles pop up with the M1, a lot of people have said the same on the melanotan.org site, that they didn’t get any with M1 but do with M2.

The blood brain thing is something worth taking into consideration too, the research on M2 is very limited at this time, and sounds way cooler to avoid that crossing of said barrier until more research is done. But that’s just my opinion.

Not saying M2 is unsafe, but in my opinion I’ll take the M1
just in case studies show otherwise in the future.
