Bloodwork After 7 Weeks on TRT (High TT Low FT)

The dose is a lot lower in the combo bottles. Basically, it can make you feel a little run-down if you get too much.

Thank you!

All the way from 100mg to 150mg? Shouldn’t i increase gradually?

I have symptoms of low energy , not feeling refreshed when i wake up even if i sleep 9 hours and gaining weight easily. Although my symptoms are not worse than when my RT3 was 115 compared to 204.5 now. I actually feel better now but that might be due to TRT. Running the labs again is a good idea. They say starvation increases RT3 , does that include taking the blood test with empty stomach from last night?

So that means DHT should be higher in levels… I feel much better compared to pre TRT , but my pre TRT levels were so bad , no wonder i feel better now. For DHT , i don’t have pre TRT levels unfortuantely so i can’t compare. I assume increasing my dose would increase DHT too?

Is it a good thing for those levels to be in the higher range?

I took a glance at the site before but i will read it all now. Thanks!

If you listen to some here, yes. I suppose they are overly sensitive to steroid hormones. Keep in mind that I come from a time when we would typically start with 200-400mg a week, and that was on top of AAS, both oral and injectable. No one would bother sticking themselves in the ass for less than a cc and no one had any kind of negative reaction. Yes, I would just go to 150, but you don’t have to, nothing wrong with bumping it up gradually.

I doubt it. You’re just eating breakfast a little later.

You would, but maybe not. You may be converting as much as you can.

Generally, yes. More red blood cells, more oxygen carrying capacity to the tissues, more endurance, train with increased intensity, etc. There is a reason why runners, cyclists and swimmers use testosterone and AAS. Some believe if hematocrit gets too high the blood is thicker and that causes problems. The question is what is too high, where do you draw the line? Get your RBC up and Hct close to 50%, you should feel a difference. Now, 55%, 60%, 65%, that’s another story and many well respected TRT doctors do not agree with one another.

Yeah, that’s not right. I would run this down.

That is encouraging, you’re on the right path. Good luck.

Yes but i meant would it effect the outcome of labs? Would it show my RT3 higher than what it is normally? Just a thought.
Thank you for all your answers.

By t3/t4 combo you mean ndt? Or combo of seperate t4/t3 meds?

I doubt it would change that much that quickly. That would require a pretty severe caloric restriction probably over several days if not weeks.

Custom, compounded T3/T4 combined in one capsule, tailored to you.

@dextermorgan - sorry if you covered this already, but did you have a test to determine if you were deficient in B12 before deciding to take these? Do you think I could take these along side a B-complex vitamin? What other vitamins do you take?

Thanks

@bcostigan41
My b12 was 700 (230-1245 range) so not as low as many people’s. I started taking the lozenges and it’s amazing the energy I get. Been on it 5 months every day and it still gives me just as much energy. I think you piss out any extra b12 so it isn’t like you can take too much. Maybe if your hematocrit is already super high you could have an issue but should be fine. Just make sure it’s sublingual 1000mcg methylcobalamin (I love the Solgar brand on Amazon).

Thanks man! I appreciate it. I just ordered the same B12 you posted. My HTC was 47 at last bloods, so I should be fine. Hoping I feel the same boost if energy too.

Do you take it in the morning on an empty stomach or with food?

@bcostigan41
Yeah I take it about an hour after coffee since I’m always reading it screws up absorption of different vitamins. Usually empty stomach

Be careful with longterm high dose B12 supplementation

UPDATE:

I changed my protocol to 75mgx2 and with my first shot i am having troubles both falling into sleep and waking up often through the night.
So poor sleep in short. Also slight palpitations during day too.
Question is should i keep this dosage for 6 weeks and see how it goes or should i lower it on my next shot?

Same with me. I increased my weekly dosage from 3x25mg to 3x35mg subq and it caused insomnia.
Interestingly i get the same problem with high B12 or folate supplementation.
With 3x25mg i am doing fine.

Insomnia is a **tch really…

Did you wait for 6 weeks before going back to 3x25mg?

3x25 is 75mg per week right? Isn’t that way too low? What is your TT/FT?

So these labs are at the day of injection… Can anyone guesstimate what would be my peak numbers for TT/FT?

Also is this FT range and unit same as the US labs?

Your dosage is way too high, you need closer to 100mg weekly otherwise you are just creating extra sides.

You think 125mg is good enough?
Because with 100mg my trough FT is too low as you can see above.

You need to not overly focus on the numbers, start paying attention to how you’re feeling, when I hear someone is having a rough time I can’t help but think their dose is too high, not everyone was meant for high numbers.

Do 130mg weekly, but I think part of the problem is you may not do well on even moderately sized dosing, you may in fact need smaller injections more frequently to alleviate these sides you are experiencing.

No, went back to 3x25mg after about 2 weeks. Couldnt stand the insomnia any more and also experienced heavy legs and my wife complained about me starting to snore.
At 3x25 mg i am around 550 and feel fine.

For subq 75mg per week is good starting dose.

Why do you think that 2x50 is too low with a trough level above 700? Your peak might be between 800 and 900.

How about FT? Is 550 trough level?
