Black Caucus Racism

Can’t agree with you on this one, Max.

And despite the sentiments and videos posted; the voting for Obama by the MAJORITY of Black Americans was out of a sense of pride; NOT because “he was gonna’ give us sumpin’”!

Mufasa
this may be true for some that voted, but in entitlement minded areas I would wager the later is more the case.

This surprises you?

Everyone thought that he would make white devils pay for the ills of their ancestors, but that damn Constitution is getting in the way.
Was Maxine Waters ripping Obama on his lack of pride ? Or his lack of jobs for the Black community ? Why did she feel compelled to insinuate that a Black president would do more for the Black community, yet flame him when he didn’t deliver on it ? Why did she rip him if they weren’t expecting something in exchange for their votes ?

I don’t believe it was sarcasm, if you look at it from the perspective of say the black power groups or the welfare groups who want money from years of oppression. That is the reason they voted for him, to get what they wanted. And so far he is not delivering as much as they thought he would.

Now that is a generalization and I do not believe every black person feels that way, it is more a subculture thing then a race thing.
Ah, I misunderstood the post. But I still don’t think the constitution is getting in his way that much.
You cannot force someone to buy health insurance. You are forcing me into entering into commerce that I might or might not be already engaged in, all for the sake of averaging out health care costs for others.

Max:

There are some people in the World I’m not even going to ATTEMPT to explain.

One is Maxine Waters and the other is Michelle Bachmann. (There are others; but these two seem to be in the public eye recently).

And yes; I put their demagogery in the the same category.

But it hasn’t stopped the healthcare bill itself. Or government motors. or the stimulus. Or obama suing states for wanting immigration law enforced.

Is “a sense of pride” an appropriate reason to elect someone POTUS?

And I’d be curious to see if that sense of pride held with a conservative black candidate…
1. When you get in that voting booth and push that screen; there are a myriad of reasons, good and bad, that you do it. Having a sense of pride and connection in the person you vote for is better than some reasons; and not as good as others.

 2. No.

Or the California Congress passing the California Dream Act (giving illegal students financial aid)? NOT EVEN FOR LEGAL KIDS ! This bill is for illegal alien kids only. Yet the SOB politicians wanted to raise taxes because they claimed there was no money !

These fuckers insulted an Iraq War veteran, back from the Middle East, but would rather charge him out-of-state tuition because he is not illegal.

I swear before God, the revolution is coming.
