Birthers are Crazy

Sounds to me like you’re saying the problem is too big for the man. Funny how that was never said about Bush. When gas prices rose under Bush they blamed him for it. Now that they are about double what they were under Bush the media is silent. When they do talk they say “Obama can’t control gas prices.” Pretty much what you’re saying. I guess he just can’t do anything about it huh? What a shame he just isn’t up to the job is he?

LOL…AVERAGE! Oh my gosh, he’s have to reach up on his tippy toes to get a C-. He has done nothing but hurt the economy with his phony stimulus (give-away for his buddy’s) package. And honestly other than kill Bin Laden, which I applauded him for I cannot think of even one other thing that he’s done correctly. Average? HA!

I don’t know about you but there was a lot - A LOT - of criticism in the UK press from all sources (including the Murdoch-owned Times and Financial Times) about Bush’s inability to cope with 9/11 and the subsequent invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. My family went out and bought all the papers on the 12th September 2001 and I looked back at them last year. The Times and Telegraph, both considered very right-wing, both questioned whether Bush could cope. There were huge question marks over the running of Iraq post-Saddam (de-Baathification etc) where people suggested Bush wasn’t up to it. Ditto Katrina.

EDIT: I appreciate that 9/11 was a black swan event that few could have prepared themselves for and bringing it up may be unsportsmanlike. But the financial crisis was similar. Despite some people warning, it generally took people by surprise. I think there are clear parallels for Bush and obama.

Bush was unlucky in that he was elected a peace-time president at the height of post-Cold War euphoria and the tip of a dotcom boom and it went to shit under him but it still doesn’t disguise that he was incompetent. i’d have a beer with him sure but he’s still incompetent.

I think Obama has tried to please everyone and ended up pleasing no one. Guantanamo is still open. Rendition is used more than ever. The US is basically in a proxy war with the Pakistani secret service. One bunch of thugs in Libya has been replaced with another bunch of thugs. He tried to consolidate when he should have stood his ground. I half think he’s making it up as he goes along economically but everyone over here is doing it, so maybe they know something we don’t.

And Yahoo comes in to the rescue!

Did you somehow miss my point Bamster? You are repeating what I have said all along. The media was quick to criticize Bush and AWOL when it comes to questioning their chosen one - Obama.

LOL…if Bush was incompetent then Obama should be impeached. Virtually every number is better under Bush than Obama. Oh that’s right it’s not Obama’s fault NOTHING is Obama’s fault the poor guy is just a victim of circumstance. WHAHAHAHA…But Bush he’s just plain old Baaaaad.

BULL!

Obama, is making it as he goes along we agree on that point. And do you know why? He’s totally clueless. Before becoming President the man had ZIP for executive experience. And was only a Senator for two years before running for President. But the media forgot to mention that as they were licking his butt.

NO i still think he born on planet Crypton

What background checks? Obama has never had a governmental background check, ever.
I’m glad you personally know the president enough to make that deduction, Also does he wear boxers or briefs? He always seemed like a boxer type of guy to me.
Loin cloth.

1 personal account of the foreign student at the Ayers house… and several articles regarding his Kenyan birthplace.

Damn…I MUST be crazy to even suspect any of this is true!!!

This battle has been lost. Its more important to discuss how Obama has failed with the economy.

What I don’t think you understand is Obama apparently wrote this biography saying he was born in Kenya, or at least supplied the information. Similar information made it to numerous other places, such as local Chicago newspapers.

In short, the reason birthers exist is Obama lied about his origins for poltical or monetary gain for years.

Why should anyone trust a man who lies about such basic stuff?

He’s a fraud, in addition to being completely inept.

These statements cover the vast majority of politicians.

Except for the politicians you like of course.

I think the crazy part is people still have their panties in a bunch over this . JUst curious how Mit’s Daddy ran for President and he was clearly born in Mexico . I have a hunch $$$$

Genius ^

This is the first time that I truly understand why the birther movement took hold with some. Obama fudged some records and now it’s coming back to haunt him.

While I was never totally convinced he wasn’t born here, I have seen and heard about enough irregularities to not be totally convinced that he was born here either.

Something that should be considered about this latest revelation is that while people are being treated as conspiracy theorists or nut jobs by calling them “birthers” Obama knew he had a biography out there saying he was Kenyan.

If this is what he was telling his publisher back then it makes me wonder if they were the only one. I had wondered if the reason why he refuses to release his records from Harvard was because he registered as a Kenyan. This latest revelation may not prove it but, where there is smoke, there is fire and I do suspect he has been blowing smoke.

But I will say this for him. He has played this masterfully. He has been able to turn legitimate suspicion into an asset because it allows him to play the victim to his base. “oh poor me” “the tea party are so racist they want to say I wasn’t born here, when that idea is really preposterous”. Even though when it suited his purpose he used to tell people he wasn’t born here.

Well said he’s basically reading from the democratic play book when it comes to playing the victim. And as you said very well played up to this point. I wonder if these new revelations will cause him to veer off course. There might be some reporter out there somewhere who will actually ask him a question about this. If it were Bush there is no question impeachment proceedings would be spoken about.

I am a ‘Birther’. He was born in Kenya. It is obvious to anyone who can read.

He is also a failure as a leader.
