Oh definitely. Plus there will always be a market for those that wish to smoke “under the radar” and don’t want to walk into a dispensary. I know a guy who pays his dealer an upcharge for the exact same product just so he doesn’t have to get his MJ card (he’s terrified it’ll end up on some govt list and get leaked, maybe not a terrible point I guess).

Ah that’s probably the difference. I’m in OH where you have to cross into Michigan to get the good stuff. I’d bet once it gets legal in a rec sense there’s a lot of people that just grow what the dispensaries are selling. Maybe there’s hope after all

I’m not sure about your network, but I happen to know some growers who’ve been growing for over 20 yrs privately…that could also be the difference
lol … weed’s a bit more difficult to control in terms of “manufacturing” … it’s literally a weed and isn’t that difficult to grow.
The really good growers have it down to a science in terms of amount of light, spectrum exposure cadence, nutrient timing, etc. Kind of like how WW combined art and science to make his Baby Blue, a lot of hobby growers do the same thing with weed - it’s not all that time consuming once you dial in the variables and timing; from what I understand anyways, I’ve only grown vegetables from seed to fruit and played with extending the growing season where I’m at by constructing a backyard green house
Nothing more than creating monopolies.
They are now as they CAN’T stop it from being legalized. There is too much public support. All their lies are being found out. They are trying to delay it’s legalization so they can try and isolate a few compounds and sell a synthetic version of it. Too bad MJ has plenty of compounds that work together, so the synthetic version won’t be as good.
