They’re talking about football ‘football’ as opposed to american-rugby ‘football’

I thought they were talking about Prime Ministers, in which case the answer would be:

Churchill
Maggie Thatcher

              P.Schmeichal

G.Neville J.Stam T.Adams D.Irwin

C.Ronaldo R.Keane P.Scholes R.Giggs

         T.Henry A.Shearer

I was a bookstore a few weeks and I picked up SAF’s book to pass some time. One of the opening passages dealt with SAF’s disappointment in his own decision of letting Stam go. He then came back to play them in the Champions League final a few years later.

Pogba was a very different story, but it’s still funny to think that Pogba is exactly what MU needs now.

How have I not seen Eric Cantona mentioned yet?
ah yes, Cantona. He would fit in nicely
Claudan wrote:
Robbie Fowler
yeah, but who would you play him upfront with?
Turkus Maximus wrote:
You’re leaving out Thierry Henry? Really?
yup, another one that should be in, plus the other Arsenal guy, Dutch, didnt fly, whats his name (googled it) Bergkamp, of course.

Drogba in his prime was dope.
plus who else up front?

You guys think they gave the Ballon d’or to Ronaldo to make him happy and appease his inner diva, or Messi was tired of preparing a speech for such events ahaha.
inner diva. I heard that Ribery got most votes in reality but that the result was rigged. Allegedly.

                         Henry

Lampard would be an excellent asset to the team as well.

United Youth player who left because Fergie wouldn’t give him game time with the seniors. Currently playing for Juventus and maybe the best young centre mid in the world.

Carragher Hyypia Campbell A.cole

Keane

Zola Gerrard

C.Ronaldo Henry Giggs

Subs:

inner diva. I heard that Ribery got most votes in reality but that the result was rigged. Allegedly.
Because CR7 sells more shirts. It’s also the only way he’ll get a (somewhat) meaningful trophy. IMO, making significant contributions to winning trophies should be more important than scoring goals that only win games against weak competition. It’s no coincidence that the guys who score the most goals play in La Liga.

The thing is, there is no doubt about who is individually the best, or one of the best players in the world.

but I completely agree that the award should be handed out to players that at least advance far into their competitions. I’m not impressed by Ronaldo scoring 5 goals against Levante, but I’m impressed by Lewa bombing in 4 on Madrid.

But honestly, Zlatan got the puskas so who the fuck cares about anything else! Once we pick up Pogba, we’ll be ready to deliver him his first CL trophy.
