Well I guess that depends Chushin. That’s alright if you found it a waste of time. I didn’t. I just thought I’d shut you two the fuck up for a few minutes.

You didn’t, but wanted to shut us up? I’m a bit confused…

BTW, I recently broke a rib and have nothing else to do…Lol.
No need to be confused. I didn’t find the poem a waste of time, I like it very much actually… and was happy to notice a recent quote on this very site by the same poet. It made my day. But anyway, go on arguing with lixy if you find it worthwhile. I wasn’t harping on what you do with your time… broken rib or not, the internet is fun.

Weak. Who claimed Blackwater guys were utility workers? The utility workers are the ones being found decapitated in fields.

Can you quote me justyiing any of these things you talk about?
You continually justify it by claiming it is their only method to fight US occupation and you call the cowards that blow up women in marketplaces brave.

You are a piece of shit and you are treated too nicely here.

Go away you lying asshole.

He referred to the ones hanging from bridges.

Those were Blackwater.

Therefore, if you acknowledge that your statement implying no political progress has been negated by recent events, I’d be happy to propose a troop withdrawal timetable.
I’ll make it simple.

There was a coalition parliament.

Then the Sunnis walked out.

Now they’re back. We’ve been hearing they’re back since early december. Yay! They’re back. We get it.

So, we’re now back to where we were before the walk out.

Two steps back then two steps forward is not progress. It’s going around in circles.

I define progress as breaking new ground, reaching new milestones on the road to a stable democratic nation. Sliding back into chaos and pulling out repeatedly is not progress. Not “real” progress at any rate.

Sounds more like a straight line to me.

pookie,

Got it.

Too bad.

Is the job finished? Do you call off the carpenters because it’s finally starting to look like a house instead of a concrete slab?

Why would we bring people back when the mission is not completed?

DO you quit training and eating when you start seeing real progress in the mirror?

C’mon pookster. At least pretend you can come in out of the rain.
It’d rain a whole lot less if you didn’t have all those holes in your head.

Let’s use your cute little analogy… Does the guy with the cement truck hang around once the foundation is dry? Does the lumber guy wait around once the frame is done? Does the roofing guy sit around and watch the painters do their stuff?

Iraq, to progress, needs to insure law and order. That’s the first crucial step that will allow the rest of the government to be set up… So, has there been any progress on that front? Very little of it. Nothing you’d call real progress, at least not if you’re honest and able to assess the situation intelligently. Oops, we’ve just disqualified you on both counts, so I guess we’ll stop wasting time right now.

Stick to replying to lixy while putting in as many “she/her” pronouns as you can. It distracts from the fact that you’ve got nothing worthwhile to contribute to the discussion.

It sounds like a crappy paula abdul song to me.

Well, opposites do attract…
orion wrote:

All of them, hanging from bridges, dragged from cars, blown to bits, shot in the head, decapitated? All Blackwater? And so what? Why is it right when Islamists kill and a crime when our soldiers do it? We’re not going around shooting people at random for reprisals like someone from Austria might have done during WWII, the people we are killing are the scum who have committed the atrocities I spoke of above.

If the war on Afghanistan was ok since it was in retaliation for the attacks on 9-11, and the Taliban and al-qaeda are wahabbi scum who deserve to die, do you cheer on their suicide bombers or are these people wrong?

Wait a minute, what the hell does any of this have to do with “Berkeley Pisses Me Off?”

Can someone explain this to me?

How many posts did it take to turn this into another Iraq thread?

This is friggin’ T-Nation, not al-needa.com.

Did lixy post in this thread? She has only one tract in her feeble little child molesting mind. Anytime she posts it is in favor of cowards like her, or against the US.

I wish she would find honor in suicide, and do us a favor. The only thing worse than a coward is a selfish coward.
And this is way i gave up on this thread at page 3. Oh well I come to expect this from the politics section.

I guess protesting marines in the US to fighting in Iraq isn’t that far of a jump.

You brought them up. I pointed out that those were Blackwater, A MERCENARY OUTFIT; NOT BOUND BY ANY LAWS WHATSOEVER, IN IT SOLELY FOR THE MONEY AND RESPONSIBLE FOR A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF IRAQI DEATHS.

So, a bunch of paid thugs croaked. Fucking tragedy.

That is miles away from the CIVILIAN UTILITY workers you claimed were hanged from bridges.

To the second part, because it is their fucking country. That makes a fucking difference. Imagine them leveling Michigan.

But you are not even content with allowing for them the same excuses/motives the US forces have, oh no, they are always civilian attacking, al Quaeda backing terrorists, even when the overwhelming majority is not.

Is there anything else you feel like taking out of context, misrepresent, twist like a pretzel though you brought it up first in a totally different context?

Ok, so, you want the insurgents to win in Iraq? Is that it? If they kill civilians in market bombings, it’s ok. It their country they can kill whoever they want? Then why was it wrong for us to allegedly arm Saddam? He gassed Kurds, isn’t that why you US bashers constantly bring up? So what, it was his country, he could gas whoever he wants.

Does that make sense in your twisted pretzel logic?
