Benefits of Estrogen for TRT Patients

He got frustrated because this guy is doing research 20 hours a day. He’s a pure academia type. A super brain. He doesn’t have time for this stuff but he does it because I ask him. He’s literally out saving the world right now lol

@bmbrady77 I’m going to ask in the group about docs in Montana. But you gotta start being nice. Ok? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Posting that now.

Well he just missed a grand opportunity to save a whole forum full of guys that are following this thread. HCT can be a very serious concern.

So angry, the high estradiol crew. If not for your sake, guise please get your E2 under control for everyone else’s sake.

@increasemyt hello… I remember you

Please do not let me get in the way of you guys saving the world lol (he really just said that), carry on.

I did say that… And I meant it… At least in terms of men’s health… Absolutely

I’m sorry, I totally missed this earlier. If you are genetically prone to gyno you’ll get it. There are a ton of factors involved. My mild gyno that I’ve had for 2 decades swells up when I take a multivitamin, eat soy, make a large adjustment in my dose, etc. I got gyno with 220 ng/dL total testosterone and E2 at 12 (my pre trt natural levels). My E2 is definitly over 50 right now and my gyno has shrunk.

I did a podcast on this subject.

I watched the video, very informative, I want your opinion on this: I had alot of low T symtoms ever since I developed a varicocele or some sort of testicular injury (have had multiple ultrasounds done but still haven’t ruled out varicocele due to ultrasound being done while laying down) and I’m gonna have a proper ultrasound soon which I believe will show varicocele.

But my main question: I had total testosterone levels of just under 300 ng/dl and bioavailable T at low out of range 1.9 with range being 2.5-10 about 3 months ago. Since then I have changed up diet, increased excercise, and improved sleep. Had my latest bloods come back at 597 ng/DL and bioavailable T at 4.66 in the same 2.5-10 range.

I’m still having basically the same low T symtoms from before, weak erections, low libido, fatigue, ect.

I’m gonna keep trying to improve naturally for another few months but if I can’t get symtom relief do you think it’s worth giving TRT a try? Thyroid should be all good as I’ve had TSH come back at 1.0 and 1.9.

Thanks

@markis655 If you’ve exhausted all natural options then yes. If you have symptoms of low T, TRT done properly will resolve this. There are tons of guys out there with symptoms but the labs claim they are ‘normal’. The only real number you want to measure is free T. Forget total and bioavailable. Thyroid is addressed in the same manner. If you have symptoms of low thyroid but labs show normal you can try it anyway to see if it resolves your symptoms. Most men have symptom resolution once they get to 30 mg/dL. The guys that feel really good typically have their levels between 40-60. Minimum amount required to resolve symptoms. If you scroll above you’ll see the full podcast over an hour long. That one you just saw was an excerpt. Hope that helps.

I calculated my free T using total T, SHGB and albumin. It works out to 12 ng/dl

Do you think the symtoms would get better in time as my body adjusts to higher levels? I mean they’re still low but they have doubled

They might … But 12 is still quite low. Give it time and see.

Yeah that’s my plan, I’m gonna keep tracking and see if I can get symtom resolution, might have to try self prescribed TRT in the end if natural doesn’t fix it. What’s your recommended starting protocol? I was thinking 70mg test e twice weekly and 500iu HCG same day both subq. After reading and listening to your podcast I’m thinking I may have that wrong though

I thought these asshole left our group. Did someone invite them back? Shame on you. Nothing has changed they are still full of shit. They can’t prove anything they are preaching. Fuck the studies we can find a study to cover any position we want. We have the god dam internet. Lets see real blood work from them proving their position. Proving it works for all.

I’ve never taken hcg but trt itself is difficult enough to dial in you may want to hold off on the hcg until you get the trt right. Don’t let that make you apprehensive though because once dialed in the positive effects are absolutely life changing. I started with a total T of almost 600 and I can’t explain how much TRT has changed my life. I think many people make the mistake (myself included) that they want immediate relief and if that doesn’t happen they want to make changes because although it’s stated 1500 times a day to wait 6 weeks or more for your body to adjust, they are different and they know 3 weeks of not feeling well is enough time to know. I wish someone had beat that into my head. Would have saved me quite a bit of time.

What were your pre TRT symtoms? And I know you have high estradiol so that points to the no AI thing being right

@hrdlvn wow. Classy.

What evidence are you looking for exactly? Let me know what you’re referring to and I’ll provide it.

Labs of guys using the cream? Is that what you mean? I can post a ton of those.

Be specific and I’ll post it.

I don’t know anyone who is optimized doing twice weekly administration. I also don’t know anyone optimized using HCG. I speak to a LOT of guys lately. HCG only if you need to be fertile right now. Daily or EOD at the bare minimum. 140mg weekly is a relatively low dose but you can always start there and assess in 6 weeks.
