How are your DHEA-S and Aldosterone?
If I remember this correctly, when someone goes from having high cortisol to low cortisol while still having DHEA-S that means you are in the early phase of adrenal fatigue which is a good thing since that means you can have a faster anf easier recovery.
I had the exact same thing with the high DHEA-S but that eventually feel down a shit ton, and that is when I really started crashing.
Haven’t been able to test for aldosterone yet.
@kratom_dumper Makes sense. Will update you what the doctor says. I hope he starts me on TRT only and if needed later we add something else. I want to take the fewer things as possible.
Let me ask you something. In STTM book they said one of the adrenal fatigue symptoms is “sensitivity to supplements”. Oddly I have that for at least 2-3 years and most people dont believe me and think its a placebo. But Im quite sure it is not. When I start a new supplement 2-3 weeks I feel odd, from some more anxious and stressed, from some like magnesium more sleepy. Even from things like multivitamins, minerals and so on. After these 2-3 weeks like my body adjusts and I stop experiencing this and go back to normal. What do you think about this?
Yes, that is very clear sign that you have adrenal fatigue. I had the exact same symptom but not anymore. Still don’t understand why you don’t want to treat your adrenal fatigue when you seem to clearly suffer from it, but hey, you do you.
What’s the treatment for adrenal fatigue? I see the term thrown around all the time but I don’t see a lot on what to do about it
Search for “STTM Adrenal FAQ” on google to get an idea what adrenal fatigue is.
In most cases, the treatment is often about fixing a person’s thyroid problems and everything else that causes high stress on the adrenals.
Because I dont want to start every treatment I find on the internet mate, no offence. And clearly cannot start HC without a doctor recommending it to me.
As I promised I will update you on the consultation with the doctor. As I said this is a very experienced and progressive HRT doctor. Right off the bath he told me as per my symptoms and looking and my labs and empty cella NMR result that I need to start testosterone. He said in my experience people with empty cella have testosterone issues and there is no other way to overcome it. I asked him specifically about the adrenals and to take a look at the saliva cortisol. He said it is not that bad, that TRT can improve it and not to worry about that now.
He advised me to start 20mg/per day sustanon(this is what I have) sub - q,
B-Complex, 10mg DHEA and 10mg Pregnenolone as they will shut down with TRT, 2grams fish oil, 2x30mg zinc citrate, 200-400mg magnesium glycinate or bissglycinate, and as I want to keep fertility after 3-4 weeks and start feeling better to add HCG 2 x 250 UI weekly.
He said it is very likely with this ester to start feeling better 2-3 weeks after initiating and expect me to reach good levels of 1000-1100 total t with that dosage. If I cannot reach good levels to try to increase, he said your dosage is somewhere between 20 and 30mg daily but you have to find it out starting from the lower.
