Well that info can be true, but it highly depends on the OP’s infestation level, when the exterminator checked my house he toldme that it was “fine” and that they were relatively very few, so there was no need to wrap clothes, he just put the chemical (wich was no toxic for the humans unless ingested) and then 2 days later we had to wash the clothes with hot water and then dry it on a drycleaner.
It wasn’t very expensive, but it was worth it, we got rid of them.
