Baseball MVP'S 2007

It pains me, but ARod in the AL. I hope he pulls his usual playoff disappearance as I am a lifetime Tribe fan (unfortunately living and working in Yankeeland).

In the NL, I think Rollins gets it. I think all Mets are excluded given their ridiculous September as a team.

A couple of nits with prior posters:

“ARod is the best fielding SS on his team”: that’s not saying much. Jeter is a very overrated fielder. Sure, he is great at his patented jump throw, but that only happens once in a blue moon and he regularly flubs the routine balls and throws away plenty of throws to 1st.

“Howard is on pace to strike out over 200 times this season”- Admittedly, that’s alot of SOs, but how about 47 HRs and 136 RBIs? A SO is far better than a doubleplay.

How about Cy Young? I think it is Sabathia and Peavy.
