One of the greatest crimes against humanity is that oatmeal raisin cookies look like chocolate chip cookies.
By law they should have to use purple dye in oatmeal raisin cookies so no one need even have one second of wonderful expectation of a chocolate chip cookie to only have their hopes mercilessly dashed against the shores of the isle called cookie disappointment.

Corn pudding and Rice pudding can most definately be nasty if made by someone who doesn’t know how. Store bought rice pudding is always a bad idea. Corn pudding and/or Rice pudding, made by somebody who actually knows how to cook is divine, where as even the best banana pudding can only ever be an 8/10.[/quote]

I like to put walnuts, and dried cranberries in my oatmeal cookies.
Not so much into the raisins.
Never had banana pudding before, the recipe sounds sweet.

A little bit, I think. Not sure. It’s kind of like a custard, with whole sweet corn mashed up in it. My Aunt makes the best ever, beyond that I can’t say anything for certain. We’re a good old Scots-irish family. Men don’t talk about cooking with the women folk.
