Worst case scenario, you go a little too deep and it’s IM instead of Sub-Q. No harm no foul.
You are likely misunderstand what is written. It should be something like 250mg per ml and have 10ml total in the vial. I.e. 2500mg of testosterone total in the container.
It is old info don’t start iodine. Get the test done and take thyroid if needed.
This was the thing that jumped out at me. That shouldn’t happen unless you have a needle problem. I use 27ga 1/2 insulin needles for Test C with zero issues. Even when I use the ones with the friction fit pull off tips.

The 29 gauge insulin syringes are 1/2".
You inject delts and quads I take it. I tried before and man did it take a while to get the oil out , needle moved around too much due to length of time and pressure to put on plunger …
The 27 ga is tiny enough, that 29 ga must take forever.
I’ve done it with a 30 gauge. 29 was a bit quicker, I wouldn’t go smaller than that for test. It’s fine for HCG
