this is really the only fuck up I’ve done too. My car actually died everytime I came to a stop, and took a few minutes to restart it. THe 40 minute ride home from my friend’s on the other side of town wasn’t fun.

I used to drive an old lumina that did something similar to this…some days it would go as fast as 30 mph without touching the gas pedal, other days it would stall if I went below 15 mph or so without revving it up. So when I came to an intersection on one of those days, I’d put it into neutral (auto tranny), and keep it revved up a bit until the light went green. I was very happy to ditch that car.
