In china, a panda weeps when a greek yearns for a dictator.
I mean the 1820s, not 1920.
Ottomans had you firmly by the bollocks.
Without the rather philhellenes, at least big parts of Greece would be turkish today.

Read it. It’s terrifying.
And also that 9gag thing. Using pictures of infrastructure for the 2004 olympics that are now gathering dust as white elephants? nice.
I think forcing austerity on Greece is ridiculous however the fact that tax collections are seen as optional and you begin to understand why Germany is unwilling to subsidise your bailout without radical readjustment.
I live in a country that is generally a bit poorer than Greece, yet we had to pay multiple times like everyone to maintain Greece’s high standards. Like some generous pensions while ours are nearly non-existant.
Good thing your last request was denied to you. Now stop complaining. Time to reap what you’ve sown baby!!

That’s true Church has fucked up Greece big time. I agree with you on that. But no one touches the church, I don’t even know why.
EDIT: When Germany gives us what they owe us, then we will discuss. Until then, they shut the hell up. The 4th Reich ain’t gonna happen.
