probably need more cortef before adding more t3 because t-3 can stress the adrenals even more unless they are supported. We are also going to look at pregenolone as well in serum to see if your building blocks are low. I am really looking into using pregenolone in my self with hopes of getting off cortisol my self. Rt3 also can be from zinc, selenium and iodine deficeincy. So adding t3 at this time would be potentially shooting your self in the foot. The previous dr really messed you up from your high dosages of testosterone. It can only take one good hit to knock out HPTA resulting in adrenals. 80% of bodybuilders have some adrenal imbalance as I am seeing more and more in clincal setting.
Adding cortisol can only down regulate testosteorne that is naturally produced from body not synthetic correct?
adding endogenous testosterone can down regulate cortisol (note supplied)…which seems to be the case here as previous history dicates. Legal action should be seek against previous practioner due to crossing ethics guidelines.
Yes he did. So when we check my test and estrogen. We will also check cortisol and make adjustments and look into pregenolone. Is it possible all my fatigue is coming from how I’m controlling my estrogen. If I don’t take anything I will have no libido and get sore nipples. But when I take anastrozole it seems to take me to low. Sore joints and no sexual function with. .25mg eod. I stopped for 6 days and my fatigue actually got better went to an e3d dose of. 25mg like you requested and the brain fog returned the next day. Maybe I need the estrogen but just need to block its effects a different way. AI MAYBE TO STRONG FOR ME ANY THOUGHTS.
may be the problem like me is not e2 but the estrogen metabolites.
As research has shown people with low thyroid have higher bad estrogen 4,16 OHE which can bind to estrogen receptors even though it has been metabolized by the liver and reciruclate back through the system. Its still the estrodial in a different potentially dangerous from that just gets reciruclated through the body.
Do under stand that we are still regulating your testosterone levels as well because of changing forms per your request. When I took cyp I got bloated on same dosage of eth. Even though they are chemical the same it can act differnt in each persons body. Right now its just mangaing the proper TRT and e2 protocol. I wish the drug companies would make a .25 mgs adex it would make things alot easier to manage with more flexibility. The research companies are too much hit or miss with my self and alot of other people I have talked to. may be have your compound phamrmacy crush down the armidex into powder then calibreate it to .1 or .05 dosage. Again you are at the mercy of the pharmacy.
I’m wondering if my body just dose not like the drug. I’ve been using a pill spliter and have been splitting them into quarters. And from the way I feel after skipping a few days and starting again I’m convinced from symptoms that the AI has something to do with my fatigue. I felt Better after I skipped and last night took .25mg and today the symptoms are back. I’m wondering if nolvadex would be a better choice for me so I keep some estrogen but block its negatives like bitch tits and loss of sex drive. I’m going to back off the AI for a little bit longer to see if it helps me feel any better.
I would try DIM in as it may help in controling e2 as armidex had me all over the place. After doing genetic testing it wa found that my body is not metabolism estrogen properly. I had symptoms of e2 when e2 was normal which was driving me in sane. How can i have gyno when e2 was normal? It made no sense but I suspected it was these metabolites. Iodine can also help metabolise estrogens as well.
I’m assuming it depends on which lab you use in regards to whether rT3 should equal 1/3rd Free T3. My labs from Labcorp state that my rT3 is 259(reference=90-350) and my free T3 is 4.3(reference=2.0-4.4). This math wouldn’t make sense…

This would be consistent with being an anastrozole over-responder. For those effected, they need to take 1/4th of the expected dose. This is not rare, we see quite a few guys who are like that.

check out stopthethyroidmadness for a great site on Thyroid issues.
before you start you should also get your Reverse T3, Cortisol, and ferritin checked out. If your RT3 is high then there is no point in starting in on Armour which would just add more fuel to the fire. Low Cortisol and low ferritin may contribute to high RT3.
Here is what I cut from some other site (at some point in the past).
You have problems IF
Total T4 < 8.0 ug/dL
Total T3 < 100 ng/dL (this varies)
Free T3 < 340 pg/dL
Free T4 < 1.2 ng/dL
TSH > 2.0 uIU/mL
Reverse T3 should equal 1/3 Free T3. Any higher and you have interference. If RT3 = Free T3, then your system acts as though it has virtually no free T3.

Ok so my FT3 = 299 < 340 and FT4 = 1.2 bottom of scale.
Both are at the bottom of range and I’m wanting to get them up to atleast the middle range if not a little higher. Can anyone recommend a good begining dose of cytomel(T3) and Synthroid (T4) to put me there. From what I read most start at T3 of 25mcg/day up to 100/day and T4 of 100mcg/day. Does this sound about right. Dr’s say im in range so everything is fine but I disagree and am taking control of my own health and I think boosting these levels may help in my recovery from TRT. Just looking for a recommendation as to what others are taking and what it did to your levels. Thanks
