I didnt see any benefit going over 1000. I even cut it to 750. I have similar size as you do.
You can get where you want to go without tren use. Honestly, and this is simply an opinion from a guy close to your age…fuck tren at our age. It has neurological impacts a man with a spouse and children probably should avoid, no matter how “aware” of the sides.
Bumping up the test is always an option where size gains are the goal. It does have a level where you don’t get much more benefit when compared to the onset of sides at high doses, and that’s likely quite individual.

Have you considered you might be an addict , albeit functioning addict ? I wouldn’t ask you to your face, and I doubt anyone around you wants to either. But considering seriously that 1000mg/week might not be enough aught to ring a few alarm bells.
At 270lb do you really need more bulk ? your legs are going to be the last to benefit from gear anyway, also you might have reached your genetic limit.
On a plus note, good luck with the competition, and the hard earned gains you’ve already made to your legs are the most keepable gains you have. If you can lose that 35lb you want to, then your legs will certainly be much more in proportion (giant) to the rest of your frame.

Out of curiosity did you experiment with the alternate partner concept (which I don’t reccomend unless you’re gf is seriously comfortable with it, as this can induce maannnnyyy issues… but perhaps it could go both ways, say you sleep with other girls, she sleeps with other guys etc)
Also with the raging libido aspect, the body will adapt neurologically over time, so say at the 3 month mark (provided you don’t continually increase dosage… which don’t, over 1g Tren is r/steroids level use) things will go back to normal as the body re attains homeostasis
It has neurological impacts (for those genetically predisposed) that one would want to avoid regardless of age/situation. If one listens to Cassidy Campbell’s account with Tren use (he isn’t/wasn’t large, but he did use and talks openly about it). He mentions how Tren specifically clouded his judgement to the point where he made entirety uncharacteristic decisions, only realizing faults after ceasing use
For a younger person, the potentially reinforcing properties of Tren and neurological impact may instill one to continually use, and over time increase dosages (not unlike recreational drugs, but far more subtle). I’ve heard anecdotes of Tren ruining relationships outright, and whilst on the user doesn’t care. This doesn’t merely pertain to Tren, as some react terribly to all AAS from a neurological standpoint… but Tren appears to be the one where it happens the most… that and nandrolone… 19-nortestosterone has fucked over a good deal of people too
