Regulatory Cost rise $70B a year under Obama and are expected to rise.

Zep you wanted more regulations you got it, and high unemployment and underemployment. This is what regulations do.

Just imagine if the number of jobs were higher and actually kept up with the number of people that wanted one. Decrease Regulations and tax rates to increase growth, which will increase jobs, decrease the Participation rate (my link), which will broaden the base, and increase tax revenues, which decrease the deficit, and decrease the debt in the long term.

Or what Obama wants. Increase taxes and regulations so the participation rate goes up which increases welfare and food stamps cost, decreases the base of tax payers, which increases the deficit and debt.

Two completely different ideologies. The difference between liberals and conservatives. One has logic the other is just the same old thing tried over and over again throughout history and has not worked.

The fact that it was left out was pure coincidence I am sure.

John Kerry’s former Senate seat may be going to a Republican. Looks like the race is going to be close…

PPP, the left leaning polling organization, released a poll on Friday that showed Democratic nominee Ed Markey clinging to a 44% to 40% lead over Republican nominee Gabriel Gomez in the Massachusetts special election to select a new Senator to take the place of now Secretary of State John Kerry.

While better than Markey, Gomez is a Romney style RINO. Basically a Regan/Clinton era democrat. So, not so bad. Better than Markey, but my grandmother is better than Markey.

Markey will walk, as the machine has learned its lesson from Brown… So don’t get your hopes up. Gomez’s only chance is to run on the “But I’m really just a Democrat, just not a commie” line.

I think it’s still pretty telling that he is even that close, even in Liberal Mass.

We saw something here recently too, with the Mayoral race in Los Angeles, the Republican did pretty well considering.

It tells me that people are reaching the breaking point with taxation, regulation, and a failing economy.

Forget all that Left vs Right bullshit, when you hit the wallet hard enough, people look for other options irrelevant of party.
