I can defend being relatively young and on roids,
But I can’t defend not being able to invent yourself an imaginary best friend who’s 25 and has been training consistently for 4 years and is disatisfied with his progress in the recent year aftern changing things around.

You could add that he doesn’t want too great or sudden gains (in mass or water) because he doesn’t want too much attention, considering he’s already gotten some comments in the past (he is pretty big)
