Thanks for your response.
I don’t have any labs on this dose,175 mg weekly, in fac, I’m going to get in later this week. In the past on the lower doses, I have always been line with regard to T and Ft. Additionally, I’m an avid gym goer, although not a gym rat. I eat right and watch the alcohol consumption, and try do take care of myself.
Let’s assume for a moment I balanced out at an E2 of 60, wouldn’t I be risking some prostate challenges, BPH or even risking cancer?
IMHO, that would depend upon where your Free T falls. Perhaps that question can be further enlightened by another question…
If this is true…
Then why did you increase your dosage? You’re not doing yourself any favors by “pushing the envelope”. You can only cause harm long term. If you want to run a very short term “blast” every now and then, then thats your prerogative, and you will probably be fine, but do not get caught up in the whole more is better mindset. Get your dose where Free T falls at the upper end of the lab range and then try to stay there for the most part.
If you do this and are in line on diet and regular exercise, E2 will sort itself out without any further input from you.
I was only running the higher dose of 70 mg E3d day because I wasn’t getting the libido bounce I expected from TRT. Once I got in to higher numbers I feel much better.
We would need to see all your bloodwork from the last dose level and compare to current bloodwork.
There could have been a metric shit ton of other reasons for your libido issues.
I can appreciate that. However I’m my 5 years on TRT all my numbers have been in line Thyroid, SHBG no ED. T FT except E2. When I was at Defy they tested the heck out of you and all good. I just needed a bounce. So I spoke Dr. Crisler before he passed away, and he said to move up slowly until I “feel” right so I did an it’s here 70 mg E3d. That’s only 175 mg a week. There are lots of guys north of 200 mg. I imaging your suggesting I stay around 100mg. I hear that 100-125 is a zero AI area. If I can’t get to zero AI on 175 a week T I’ll probably step down, since I’m very tired of fiddling with my TRT/ AI.
I forgot to ask, are you affiliated with a clinic? You sound professional.
I’m not suggesting anything, except that your dose should be whatever gets your Free T to an upper end lab range, and NOT way over. Whether that be 500mg or 100mg, it’s completely individual.
I’m telling you that if you need to be at supra-physiological levels to “feel” right (and who doesn’t FEEL good when they are blasting?), then something else is wrong, and your body is trying to tell you that by letting your E2 go high enough to cause you a symptomatic response, which is why you have to keep messing with an AI.
I couldn’t suggest anything at all, and neither could anyone else here, without looking at your blood work though.
No lol! I am no doctor. Just a someone who is in the trenches with you guys that happens to do a lot of research.
Where are you getting this info man?

This seems like a new and popular philosophy. Let your body do the balance work versus an AI.
Yep. It took me 3 months of feeling like shit on the same protocol until I finally felt like a normal human being. I found I wasn’t waiting long enough. I would go on an AI, no AI, AI, no AI but the problem was I just needed to give it more time. Even 6 weeks I feel isn’t enough to get used to a new protocol (for me at least). I really wish I would have known that when I started but the info is so conflicting when you are new and is hard to pick out what’s BS. Trial and error
I think so many of us have been guilty of that. Expecting the body’s response to be practically instantaneous - it takes weeks, sometimes months to allow the body to balance itself out, recover, adjust etc.
In theory T replacement is a “forever” thing, therefore adjustments to things like AI (if one is used at all) should be incremental and slow.
Agreed!
Thanks for the feedback!
I was working with Dr. Crisler for a few months before he passed away, and I just started working with Dr. Nebbeling, who took over Dr. Crisler’s practise. Dr. Nebbeling who is also a TRT guy told me to drop all AI’s, as he and Dr.Crisler did. I’ve only been at zero AI for about 9 days, and I already feel better, but not right yet. There is a propensity to feel like your on the high side of E2, but it does start to balance out at least so far. I noticed a very high and tight package that only lasted a few days. I also noticed some sleep disturbances, and the need for viagra, which I generally don’t need when I’m in ballance. The last “too high symptom” I noticed is that climaxing could be a little tough to reach. You have to be careful or you could get a friction burn, or live with the frustration of climax failure. I haven’t done any labs yet, but my current dose is 70 mg E3D in case that helps you to get and idea for your self.
I will say I think this is absolutely the way to go!
Good luck!
I had all of those symptoms for months too. They get better and eventually go away. I thought I had high E2, too high a dose and about 50 other things but in the end I just needed to man-up and give them time to subside. Easier said than done but so true.
Thanks for the advice. I think I’m where you were a while ago. About 2 weeks ago, I got and email from my doctor 's office, telling me to make an appointment, and I did. The guy gets on the phone and says stop all AI’s, and we’ll send you a list of labs you’ll need to take, and woosh gone. It was like a drive by doc appointment. Unfortunately, there very common in TRT treatment. In any event, I’m now 2 weeks into zero AI and it’s not bad, on some days I have a red face and chest, on others I have a little bph, and still on others, I have a little insomnia. But none of these sides last for a long, time it’s more of a on again off again thing. The truth of the matter is that I haven’t spent so much time thinking about my dick since I was 17.So I guess what I’m asking is, how does the body magicly balance the very hormone that we were taught to fear, a few years back. I know most everyone is going this way, and I for one am very relieved. But, I like things better when I can understand the process. As things stand now, I’ve heard that a couple of guys balanced out at about 4 weeks, and I think you said it was about 6 weeks for you.
You wouldn’t happen to have genius any insight, you wouldn’t mind sharing. If I would appreciate it.
Thanks!
How are things now for you?
As i am an over responder too, i learned to listen to your body. If i am down on E2 i feel my joints, i don’t have less periods of deep sleep.
When my E2 upped too high i can sleep all day, have water retention and no sex drive.
I have 1 mg ana dissolved in 20 ml vodka, use 2 drops about E4D but depends of how i feel exactly. T is E3D/E4D for 90 mg.
