You got that right. Which is actually a bit disturbing, considering the average american doesn’t have a clue about the geography of the rest of the world outside the US border
what do you mean “outside” the U.S. border, i thought our borders only met our other borders. it’s all the U.S. to me

bahahahaha yeah right. hotter chicks in canada? i have more hot chicks in my neighborhood than canda and australia combined.
The only Canadians I see here in Florida are the ones who come down for the winter. They’re called ‘Snow Birds’. They drive too slow and are always looking for a discount. I guess because your Canadian dollar is about 70% compared to the US. I can’t stand finding Canadian change mixed with mine. Although worthless here the Canadian coins whether they have Queens, Maple Leaves, or Beavers on them they will still go through a Coke machine… ; )

Interesting comment about our currency. Ours, like most world currencies, has appreciated around 35-40% the last 4 years vs the US$. The US$ is losing value against everything faster than your mother lost her virginity. It’s a very bad situation although the dollar has stablized recently.
PS. They all have Queens on them.

I’m sure in the last couple years you guys have caught up. Our trade deficit is at record highs and we’re throwing away our money on our illegal war.
Illegal? Congress voted for it. What makes it illegal?
I think he means illegal by international law, which is true. I am not very familiar with the American legal system but I know in Canada that an action is not automatically legal just because the politicians decide they want to do it.

Saddam invading Kuwait was illegal.
Saddam violating UN sanctions was illegal.
Claiming the invasion of Iraq was illegal is a poor argument. You may not agree with the reasons for it, but to claim it is illegal is incorrect.

Curiously, are you saying that it’s a bad situation for the USA? If so, I would argue that it is great for the middle class of the USA. A weaker dollar = more foreign exports (cause yall can afford more) which = more jobs. The rich are the only ones losing out.

“Avoid luggage tags, dress and behavior that may identify you as an American,” the U.S. State Department advises in Publication 10942, a guide to safe travel abroad.
LOL
A few of my family members moved down to the US to for jobs and they get paid way more there than they do in Canada. I’m going to be heading down to CA soon for a job in software engineering. Anyone here have advice for a new worker in the US and A?

Sometimes ignorance is bliss… The thing I don’t get is how can americans be so unhappy?
it’s because they have never left the U.S. i was also “unhappy” until i went to europe and saw first hand how much the rest of the world blows, comparatively speaking of course. every time i hear somebody talk about “how shitty” it is here, i just tell them to travel outside the borders.
