So you’re against vaccines because they lead to a profit with Big Pharma? You must not be a parent. There’s also a profit motive behind air bags. Something leading to a profit doesn’t make it automatically wrong. If you want to discuss prices, I’m 100% on board, as the prices of healthcare in the US are stupidly inflated due to greed. But if your argument is that vaccines aren’t effective, you don’t have a lot of ground to stand on.
There is a positive benefit to risk ratio. Unless you think there’s a price that makes a dead child a negative ratio. Personally I’d pay 10x what I did for my kids to ensure they don’t contract a lethal, completely preventable disease.
I watched the videos Zep posted they are very compelling and the music was very scary. I didn’t realize it was not only Autism that was linked to vaccines, but Rheumatoid Arthritis, Asthma, Epilepsy, and worst of all Diabetes all of which one lady in your great videos attributed to the number of vaccines we get. By the way I think a better video for you to spend watching and less of a waste of time would be this one.
Zep these videos are a gold mine of “great science” I never knew you couldn’t have 2 diseases at the same time that’s why its not natural to inject multiple diseases with a vaccine. This doctor should probably tell that to the large number of AIDS patients who die because of pneumonia. Its great to see another natural medicine guy on these boards. I see all these people popping Aspirin for headaches, when they should be drinking my shaved deer antler tea with ginseng, st. johns wort, and orange zest gets rid of headaches in 6-8 hours.
Well sure deer antler is fine for people who like that kind of stuff, but my grifola frondosa with tramates versicolor will cure cancer, readjust your chakra, lengthen stumpy clavicles and redimensionalize your Chi.
While I don’t have cancer that does sound delicious I am still waiting for the morels to start popping up in Iowa. I guess if I did have cancer all I would need are some mushrooms and weed and that would cure it.
I just went out looking for some on Wednesday. They usually come up in the beginning of May here but it has been a warm spring. I generally suck with them, but give it a token effort.
Its usually late April here, but there are groups that follow them up from Missouri and clear out the public forests around here and will sell them for 15-20 bucks a pound. Luckily my father in law knows some forests near his house that rarely get hit, so we end up with 5 pounds or so to eat.
Your claim is that because he is a futurist he is given to wild expectations At least that is what you insinuated. All the while tissue engineering had already been performed with success on several people with different body parts.
Another person who just doesn’t understand. When corporations do what they can to prevent a less expensive more efficient way from coming to the market to protect their profits, that ought to be punishable with jail time and the closing down of the business. But competition is not what monopolies want so they pay off people in order to keep the status quo from being challenged.
No actually I learned nothing. I was hoping for an unbiased reporting of vaccines (like the narrator said these videos were all about). What I listened to was one side with people like yourself purporting that side. If they truly wanted to give proper information actually interview doctors, researchers, virologists who think completely different then these people in the videos. Many of the pediatricians in the videos were actually for vaccines just not the CDC schedule (but still questioned vaccines efficacy and made comments that made me wonder if they really were for vaccination). I have no problem looking at the schedule and making modifications if warranted, the problem is these doctors saying the schedule needed to be changed never provided any evidence on why they needed to be changed. The videos in this collection of ignorant doctors talking is nothing more then perpetuating fear and misinformation. They talk as if they know what they are talking about, but to anyone that actually dissects what they are saying and knows about science like many others on this board do, its nothing more in perpetuating junk science.
To address your comment about alerting listeners via their forum. I see very little point to that because like yourself they don’t want to listen. I could like many other people on this very board provide them with studies contradicting almost everything in those videos and it wouldn’t matter.
FTR, this has become the trendy new way to be an anti-vaxxer: claim that you are not against vaccination, but you really just want to make sure that vaccines are being sufficiently studied to determine that the current schedule is, in fact, safe.
That’s exactly what they are. Unfortunately, one has to be at least somewhat scientifically literate to be able to tell that. Since most people are not scientifically literate, videos like this can sufficiently impress people into thinking they are presenting the hard truth, which is why my colleagues and I get so exasperated that this stuff continues to circulate.
