After Honeymoon Phase, Is Anyone Actually Happy With Their TRT?

He’s not the only guy who knows how to fix a bad protocol. There’s more than a few docs here who know what they’re doing. This board will be just fine with or without his input

But he knows how to CORRECTLY fix a bad protocol. And because there are too many people spouting off broscience here, without supporting evidence, he’s no longer here.

Look, I understand where people are coming from. I too argued with him. I thought I needed an AI. But the difference with me and others who dropped the AI after listening to @dbossa, is that we realized the logic of what he was saying, so we tried it. There are too many people here who just stick to their broscience, without any logical reason to do so.

Yes and then the many others who that approach didn’t work for. So we are all stoked it worked for you and Danny, we truly are. It’s not going to work for everyone.

Did Danny ever provide any clear evidence? Who are you call anything bro science?

Danny is gone? Thank god. That overmedicated nincompoop was obnoxious. Loved his perspective and ideas but hated his overbearing bitchy controlling personality. His behavior and communication is a clear symptom of a hormone imbalance. Not sure why anyone would want to follow a person’s advice that behaves like that.

So I started on testosterone pellets for 3 years and felt amazing. Switched to injections for two years and libido was never there. Never had a real urge.

I just went back on pellets 3 weeks ago and life is good again.

I hate to break it to you, but Danny used all sorts of logical fallacies (perhaps one of the biggest offenders here). A logical fallacy doesn’t necessarily mean his position was wrong, but that we can’t determine if he is right or wrong.

FWIW, I think he is mostly right on the AI stuff. I just did not like his debate style at all. Hasty generalizations, straw men, appeal to authority, black swan (in regards to men not needing an AI), and a whole assortment of other fallacies.

That sums up his time here pretty accurately. I think the mission was a good one—reduce the amount of unnecessary drugs people take on TRT—but the missionary was the wrong person.

An unrelenting view that no-one needs an ai wasn’t exactly the best position though- all he needed to do was stop thinking in absolutes - most guys don’t need an ai is a very different position to no one…
