Adrenal Fatigue? Is a Break Needed on TRT?

You need either a slightly smaller dose, or cycle in a bigger dose once in a while. Your body will produce more androgen receptors (Not less and you are by no means i danger of “Using them up” or burning them out at TRT levels). There is also a good chance that you are simply in need of a supplement. Are you anemic when it seems to stop working and that goes away when ou go off? Are you low on something else because your body simply uses it up faster than your diet can restore it when on? Calcium, zinc, iron, 500 other things?

People think that, and from a “how much free T do I get out of my total T” perspective, it typically is the case.

The problem is low SHBG tends to come with guys that are overweight and have insulin resistance type issues and for whatever reason they seem to have a lot of trouble getting dialed in sometimes. I don’t know why but there’s at least a correlation between SHBG and insulin resistance

High SHBG guys pretty much just have to inject more T and that’s that… not a big deal to manage
