Which would explain why his corpse didn’t look like a crispy critter in all the photos. I wonder if there’s going to be multiple bullets fired from close range found (and left out of) any autopsy reports.
Can you imagine the outcry if that were to be the case, and it were to be leaked?
I bet there are more than just a few haters aout there hoping that scenario to be the the truth. [/quote]
If the troops found him alive, I just hope they killed’em slowly. I would have.

Oh, you missed the point where Marmadogg was advocating torture? Some might consider that somewhat sadistic, preferring to simply kill the bastard and be done with it.
Ah, vigilante justice, doesn’t it just smell great in the morning?
I guess it’s ok to promote torture and killing, just as long as you’re one of the good guys.
It’s a whole different matter if you do it, while being one of the bad guys. Then you deserve to rott in hell.
Somehow I have a sneaking suspecion that, if there is a God, he doens’t judge us by the colors of our hat, or of our skin. But by our words and actions.
I’m just pointing out there’s only little difference between Al Zharqawi and Marmadogg in that regard.
Well, at least he admitted people were actually tortured in Abu Ghraib.
On the bright side: I don’t put myself in Gods place and tell him where to send people after they die. In the unlikely event that he would consult me on the matter however, I would, most humbly, suggest not letting Al Zharqawi pass the pearly gate.
And I would also suggest to put him in the same cell as Marmadogg. That way they can torture each other forever. And everybody would be happier for it.

I guess you are right. Marmadogg expressing his preference that Zarqawi be tortured is the same as Zarqawi torturing, beheading and blowing people up.

Don’t let your hatred confuse you. I certainly didn’t say they were the same, and you are surely aware of that.
However, advocating hatred and torture, is also not morally appropriate, is it? Just because your own hands are not dirty, doesn’t make it right.
Now, realistically, many people make all kinds of statements in the heat of anger or passion about a topic. In all likelihood such talk is simply empty talk. I’d imagine that to be the case here as well, but that still doesn’t make it appropriate.
What about empty threats based on race, sex or religion? Are those appropriate? We’ve all heard them. All I’m saying is don’t turn off your moral compass just because you have a deep hatred of somebody or something.

You forgot the part where he gaves the thumbs up on the Abu Ghraib torture.
You see Zap, there are 2 kinds of people in the world.
Some think that you shouldn’t torture under any circumstance (and don’t bring up the innocent child locked up in a flooding basements and only her kidnapper knows where she is).
And you have people who genuinly believe that it is ok to torture people, as long as it is for the good cause. Zarqawi is one of these.
Are you?

Why not? This is exactly the case.
Is it OK to torture a murderer to prevent more murder?

It is only okay to torture if the one doing the torturing is a islamo-facist terrorist, and the one’s being tortured voted for Bush. At least it is in wreckless’ small little hate-america world.
