I can tell when someone is staring at me. Is this not what you are talking about? It happens far too often to chalk this up to simple coincidence especially when the person is behind me and I have to turn around to see them.
The problem with topics like this is that everyone is different. Those without that “sense” will be the first to claim that everyone else is crazy if they claim they feel it. That is why I usually avoid these topics.
Yes, some people take this to extreme hippie psychic levels that turn everyone else off. However, I do believe that our own “energy”, whether science can trace this to pheromones, electricity or even heat, can be felt by others and even some animals.
There are dogs that can sense when someone is going to have an epileptic seizure minutes before it happens.

Well, I agree here, but it’s related to animals being able to sense hormonal/chemical changes a HELLUVA lot better than we can. And not being a medical guy, I’m probably overstepping here, but I would guess that a seizure or other things like that going on in your body does have some chemical release associated with it.
Who knows - maybe the reason you can ‘feel’ someone looking at you is we’ve got some of that latent ‘sense’ still in us.
But all the stuff tied to fields and stuff - while it COULD end up being real, IS NOT yet proven with the instrumentation that tests for that sorta stuff (electrical/magnetic fields, that sorta thing).
Ki, Chi, Prana, or whatever you want to call exisits. Some people have it stronger, and some can “feel” it more than others. Its just the myth has been taken way out of bounds by charlatains and hucksters (see Matt Furey, and a host of others throughout recent history and before).
Meridian therapy (acupuncture, pressure, etc) works on animals, so it is not just a placebo effect. It does work to a certain extent. But it is not a replacment for traditional medicine, but an enhancement. Practitioners have uses this in conjunction with herbs, amoxibustion, and other remedies. I have used it to help rehabilitate my illnesses and injuries, and for others as well. But we still went to see a doctor.
I can’t see auras, or chakras. Sorry.
I beleive in Ghosts. My family has seen them and had experiences. I haven’t.
The idea of sensing things and people around you is an old idea; I am not sure if it is training or “sixth sense” but I have seen people do some really interesting things with it.

I am with you on the acupuncture in regards to pain relief. There are studies that prove it does indeed help. However, the studies also showed that the same pain relief was felt by random placement of the pin’s in comparison to someone being a “master” of the procedure. So, save your money and get a friend and some disinfectant.
Also, I agree that it is more body language than anything else. I think the more people learn about mannerisms the less they attribute to the sixth sense. Sort of like science and the facts in the bible.
