This is too funny!

I really am not sure when the last time I fondled my left breast while listening to the national anthem was.

I guess I’m a terrorist. Better ship me to Gitmo.

Obama is closing Gitmo so about 250 of his buds can come to your neighborhood, and mine. Ayers’ll teach them to speak English during bomb making class.

J/C: Do you put your hand over your heart when saying the pledge? Do you stand?

If you do and its good enough for you, should it be good enough for Obama?

Why would I pledge allegiance to a flag?

Kook-aid?

I don’t put my hand over my heart. I stand at the POA. You calling me unamerican? There’s way too much valuable stuff to hit this shitbird on. Let this go.

I’ll believe it when I see it.

x2

I’m also saddened by the number of people in this thread that don’t know the difference between the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance.

Beyond that, the only offensive thing in that video is that rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner. That was garbage. I don’t understand why it’s okay to get creative with the anthem. This isn’t a cover song. This isn’t “Proud Mary”. It’s not meant to have a personal touch.

While we’re on the subject, why the hell is the Star-Spangled Banner even the national anthem? It’s from an unknown battle during one of the least known American wars. And it’s damn near impossible to sing. Nothing says America like the War of 1812.

Maybe he remembered being kenyan.

No one is. You would be pledging allegiance to the moral principles represented therein. You know, like: “We hold these truths to be self-evident…” and the like.

I know that most women don’t think in terms of concepts, rather thinking in terms of percepts. Are you with your majority?

BTW: Women voted in Hitler, Clinton, and Obama. Time to reverse the franchise?

Well, that certainly illustrates the diversity of the word.

I was being facetious. Well, mostly facetious anyway.

I really can’t remember the last time I recited the pledge… maybe elementary school? So I probably did place my hand over my heart then. I wouldn’t if I were asked to recite it today, but I really can’t see myself being in a situation where I am ever again asked to recite it, so I may never know.

I’m going to ignore the last part of your post.

Why would you not do it today? Michelle is now, finally, proud of our country. Aren’t you?

So people like you can feel superior by judging my patriotism.

You’re welcome.

Should you be judged by your actions?

You would not hire someone to work for your company who showed publicly no interest in your company’s success. But you propose to vote for someone who openly and publicly displays contempt for the gesture wrt the flag.

Real deep thinking there, girly.

To say that not putting your hand over your heart for the National Anthem is to display contempt toward the flag is to openly admit that you do not understand the difference between the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem.

I didn’t see any open display of contempt, son.

Perhaps he was objecting to the horrible singing anyway?

Everyone else on the stage were the stupid ones! I get it now!

I know I’m very sexist but do you really want to admit ‘inability to admit when wrong’ to my list wrt to females? I know, who gives a rat’s ass?

Note that there are many women whom I admire — Ayn Rand, Golda Mier, Ann Coulter, and all the gals in UFC, amongst many others — all of whom were lucky to get a little extra testosterone at conception.

Boy, I might get upset if I could take you even a little seriously, but I really think that you are mentally disturbed and have the emotional development of a twelve year old. You just make me laugh. I think it’s funny that you poke fun of my lack of testosterone to make a point, and when you disagreed with Emily, you accused her of being a man.

Anyway, I admire the Obama for not displaying open contempt at the horrid singing that was going on.

No reason to be upset. I grew up in a very masculine household (mom died when I was 4) with brothers and I know I’m very sexist. My ideas are also very different and old-fashioned. Does that make me disturbed? No. Let’s call me an ‘historical anachronism’ of how men (real men) act.

Are you like most women and still going to deflect my question, btw?

What makes you disturbed is the fact that you have been trolling this site (and possibly others ???) for at least 6 years. Maybe it’s time for you to get another hobby.
