I had dozens of friends who were big Rush fans. I liked the music but always felt the lyrics seemed a bit forced… so did not become a superfan… despite their Canuckitude.
I saw them in concert a few times. Very good shows. All of my friends were Rush fans, and a few of them could even play The Spirit Of Radio just like on the album! My one old buddy could even play it all the way through including the solo. Not just the intro!
If I had to choose favorites I’d probably go with Red Barchetta and La Villa Strangiato.
