American cheese works better when you think of it as a sauce, not as a cheese.
Although I am a sucker for black and blue burgers (blackening seasoning and blue cheese).

Canadian Costco options are still better than the States, but not as good as Mexico.
They used to have both smoked meat sandwiches, and sandwiches with provolone. It isnāt a cheesesteak without it.
