Lol.
The odds are excellent that you are the only one here with a near relative directly & actively involved in mass murder.
For those who don’t know, Orion The Name Caller’s grandfather was a leader of the Austrian Nazi party.
Hey!
Why don’t you do yourself?
Where do you get that from?
He was a Nazi, period- so were many others.
…are you suuure he wasn’t a racist, Jew murdering, imperialistic, Russian village burning, order following Nazi?
It’s more fun that way!
Well, the order following does not really run in the family but for at least one of them the Jew murdering and the Russian villagre burn8ing could be true, and the Nazi part certainly is.
On a more serious note, and of course it doesn’t have anything to do with you, Orion, other than that this post reminded me of it…
Possibly the most disturbing movie I have ever seen is Come and See (original Russian title: Idi i smotri), about the Nazi’s systematic destruction of Belorussian farm villages. Short description: shows how they went into these rural farm communities and slaughtered the entire village, man, woman, child, baby, all.
The whole movie plays out like a bucolic version of Event Horizon directed by Felini. It is disturbing in the extreme starting about an hour end and then not stopping to catch its breath until the credits roll (actually not even then, as the very very most evil fucked up thing comes in a short paragraph at the end of the movie that just makes you want to tear your eyeballs out of your head to unread it and unsee the whole movie).
Just one example. As the Nazis have packed every member of one of the villages into a wooden church (or barn, can’t remember that part). They are going to burn the building down with all of the villagers inside, but first tell them that anyone who wants to can leave, but they have to leave their children inside. After they start shooting into the building with machine guns, lobbing grenades, and then blowtorching the whole thing, a young attractive blonde woman attempts to escape through a window with her newborn baby. The Nazi’s pull her out, take the baby, and toss it back through the window into the barn. They drag her away screaming. Later, toward the final scene of the movie, we see her walking toward a small group of Russian soldiers, her bare legs exposed with rivers of blood running down her inner thighs to her feet.
And that’s not the worst part.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked up.
